Perhaps you came share with us the exactly what you mean by big pension and how much dough?

If you emigrate to another country you need to have a specific reason and proof you can support yourself. thought that was common knowledge

It is and I’m aware of those requirements, he described the need for a “big pension” and “loads of dough”, I asked him to explain how much he thought a big pension and loads of dough was, as yet I haven’t had a response [emoji106]

A chap I work with has parents who moved to Spain about 2 years ago as they loved the life. They cameback for a holiday and got stuck with the lockdown.. They did say that The Spanish authorities had been very helpful with advice as regards applying for leave to stay, taking a Spanish driving test and going on " The Books " as it were.

However lots of Brits are refusing on principle to register and comply and those are the ones that will end up being kicked out... Unlike Johnson, you can't have your cake and eat it.

The English language newspapers in Spain have been advising those residents for over a year on how to apply for residency and getting Spanish driving licences.

My late friend lived in Spain until last year, when sadly she died of cancer. We discussed Brexit, and she had no sympathy for many of the Brits over there. They refused to learn Spanish, and many didn’t register so they didn’t have to pay Spanish taxes, nor take out Spanish health insurance.

No sympathy whatsoever for people who do not help themselves, why would you not want to embrace the culture and language when moving to another country? Bizarre.

I do think you do a sterling service (and often completely unappreciated) for those who don't have access to, or are incapable of using Google

And indeed answer for those incapable of answering themselves, talking of good service I trust you’ve now apologised to JCFG for your ridiculous allegations, now confirmed by one of the more respected moderators on this board, as being untrue?

I know this a bit complicated for you, but since you insist on sticking your beak into something that doesn't concern you

And now I've risen to your desperate multiple attempts, hour by hour, all day long, to get some attention so

:bigwave:

Ah well, that's the beauty of freedom of movement, you can up sticks move to Spain, then possibly move to Italy or where ever you like, Europe is, or should I say WAS your oyster. I think alot of people enjoyed the freedom of moving without the commitment, and could easily come back home as if it was like the next town.
