As long as he thinks it hurting the right group of people Brexit in his mind is a resounding success. That is all that remains, there is nothing else

People who subscribe to the idea a divided country, surely simple logic tells you if anything was good for the UK it would unite us and we'd all be on board with it.

The current government actively promotes a divided nation so they stay in power, Boris wouldn't be PM without brexit so needs to keep that bandwagon rolling

Divide and rule

The problem with their divide and rule approach is the threat to the very existence of the thing they were supposed to gaining sovereignty over, the cruellest irony of Brexit. No amount of flag waving BS will make up for their cavalier disregard for the Union

Even Welsh nationalism is on the rise now, the Irish issue and Scotland were obvious but didn't see that coming

A British company has a maintenance contract for the British Navy renewed

What you mean is regardless of Brexit, not despite Brexit, but I very much doubt you understand the difference :dunce:

I think that the Brexiteer argument on this thread is really starting to suffer from the loss of Ppf's intellectual prowess these last couple of days :lolol:

Johnson also needs to keep portraying the EU as the bogeyman. He needs ordinary people to keep being angry with other things and not noticing the cluster ****s and double standards of his government.

So, its flags, asylum seekers and people protesting against the updated Crime Bill... Which hilariously has been transposed in to Kill the Old Bill in order to generate more rage from Middle England.. Don't mention Brexit though!

The misfortune of having a closed mind continually fed by a social media echo chamber probably means you never will 'get it', the same goes for all the other remainer obsessives on this thread. Tens of thousands of posts provide ample evidence that there never was any real interest in listening and accommodating opposing opinions. Saying I don't understand/I told you so is just another manifestation of that narrow mindedness while also serving as an ongoing coping mechanism for the shock of the 2016 result. Hopefully one day you will all move on but I have my doubts ...

Yes, we get it. You were a winner 6 years ago. Congratulations, but you really need to move on

Today, now you are eventually finding out what it was that you 'won' 6 years ago, what do you think we should do about it ?

Unless, of course, you want to claim that 6 years ago you knew you were voting for a Border in the Irish Sea, No deal for Financial Services, the Decimation of the Fishing industry, the Crippling of the export industry and no customs controls on imports, with it's associated smuggling issues, inability to collect taxes and consequential undercutting of British businesses ?

Given what you have 'won' is now proving to be completely unsustainable in it's current form, what do you think we should do about the issues above ?

It appears Security is the latest to move from 'Project Fear' to 'Project Reality' in today's news.

At least 10 EU countries will not extradite criminals to UK because of Brexit

At least 10 EU countries will no longer extradite their nationals to face prosecution in the UK because of Brexit, the government has admitted. In correspondence with the House of Lords EU Committee, it said Croatia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Latvia, Poland, Slovakia, Slovenia and Sweden will be “invoking constitutional rules as reason not to extradite their own nationals to the UK”. Additionally, Austria and the Czech Republic will only extradite their own nationals to Britain with their consent.

Brexit: UK lost 'significant' access to EU policing data under deal, report warns

Britain has lost "significant" access to EU policing data under the Brexit deal negotiated at the end of last year, a House of Lords report has said. It also concluded that post-Brexit law enforcement arrangements are "complex" and "untested". And peers warned it would take much longer for vital data to be passed to frontline police officers.

When the UK left the EU it lost automatic access to EU databases with information on criminal records, fingerprints and wanted persons. Specifically the report draws attention to the UK's loss of access to the EU's criminal database - the Schengen Information System (SIS II). Leaving the system meant the UK lost access to 40,000 alerts about investigations in other European countries.

Thank God Johnson negotiated a 'Good Brexit Deal'. Could you imagine what it would be like if he had got a shit one ???

Ppf only got a 3 day ban I think so you won't be missing his many, many insightful posts for long.

Bit like real life this, cancel culture against PPF, his freedom of speech surpressed by the woke mods
I don't care actually - I cancelled ppf a while back - his dull, repetitive, gloating sloganeering sucked too much joy out of NSC - so whether his ban is 3 days or 3 years it makes no odds to me.

More great news. One of many companies investing in this country.

*tut* You really should know the thread rules by now .. economic growth, investment, job security/creation when we were in the EU were all supposedly inextricably linked with our membership whereas growth, investment, job security/creation outside the EU has nothing to do with Brexit.

So neither of you can make any link whatsoever from this Press release that you have decided to post on the Brexit thread, about a company knocking down one facility to build another, and Brexit, no matter how tenuous :dunce:

Wow, Honda bailed because of Brexit, lost 3500 direct jobs and around 8 times that in indirect jobs

It is now being replaced by warehousing

Is that supposed to be a Brexit dividend?

As for the government bailing out the steel industry lets not go there...

Another fact-free post from the #teameu/5thcolumn crew ...

"The decision to close the plant is part of Honda’s broader global strategy in response to changes to the automotive industry.

“Brexit is not part of this decision, - Honda

“We are very glad that the site will be retained for employment use and it appears that the number of jobs created will be equal or greater than currently employed by Honda. It is also encouraging that the turnaround into its new use will be quick. It will be a boost for economic recovery in the region over the next two years."

I suppose we should be grateful you aren't banging on about poor, far away African countries that don't matter or comments about 'Japs' ...

Loads of words 'written in italics, quotes and highlighted' with no sources for those words whatsoever. It's almost getting to the point where I can't wait for Ppf to get back, so we can get some relatively lucid, intelligent arguments from the Brexiteer Brigade :dunce:

*edit*

Have you donated that £100 to REMF yet ?
