How the f*** could you satirise this

Boris Johnson threatens to call time on Northern Ireland Brexit deal - Boris is threatening to call time on the Northern Ireland part of his Brexit 'Good deal' that he negotiated and signed off as his alternative Theresa May's NI backstop

It comes as his deputy Michael Gove held talks with European Commission officials after demanding a “grace period” for new bureaucracy on importers and exports be extended to 2023. We had absolutely no idea what we are doing, f***ed it up completely and now demand that the 3 month grace period that we negotiated as part of our Brexit 'Good deal' is extended to two years.

The Brexiteer gave Brussels a tight deadline to come up with a solution “this week”
. And we need you to come up with a solution to our total incompetence this week

I think we can add Armando Iannucci, Ian Hislop, Charlie Brooker, Chris Morris, John Bird etc as people who are going to be put out of work by this Johnson government :lolol:

We were offered an extension on finalising the FTA but we decided to blast ahead in the middle of a global pandemic instead.

Government ministers weren't selected for their brains or expertise, were they?
Yes, I know it overlaps with the Covid pandemic but also proves the UK cannot close its borders!!

Would be nice if all freight drivers were actually required to have a negative Covid test before entry into the UK via the ports.

For some reason the government thinks they are immune including those from Portugal (hotspot area for Brazil variant)

Maybe they'll introduce them when (and if) they finally get round to introducing some sort of customs procedures for stuff coming into the UK in June

4 weeks into Brexit now, can you hear something ?

I'm beginning to think it was probably just a couple of typos in the Brexit campaign material and the phrases should have read 'Taking Out Control' and 'Getting Done by Brexit' :lolol:

The problem is we have import chaos even without customs procedures, listen to the transit times from the big carriers right now

The problem is even with an open border the government are so terrified drivers won't come to the UK, so they refuse to put tests in place and put public health at risk

Take back control? More like losing control...
