it's not about leave and remain anymore, merely holding the government on the mandate for which they were elected. There's no oven ready deal, there never was, just like there'll be no extra police, no extra Nurses, more hospitals, just complete cobblers to get your vote. Vote in lliars - get lied to

I'd send any letters of complaint to Corbyn & Bercow. The chance was there.

Obviously anyone with a modicum of common sense recognised it for the patronising tripe it was. However, there are a significant number of posters on this thread who didn't, and are now going to get the fingers burnt trying to follow Johnson's saddeningly pathetic lead in 'oven ready' tripe.

I really don't need to name them do I ?

*edit*

Well, just off the top of my head for starters there's

Ah, bless, you're clearly getting lonely at the end of the Black Lion bar and so go on a fishing trip

So, just for you, I'll respond to your other post :

Are you pissed or have you simply been spending too long hanging around with idiots

That's the leave case

:lolol::lolol::lolol:

Obviously the post was far too subtle for your elderly pickled brain .... so I'll explain it in .... really .... simple ... terms ....

1. Remainer posts a Vote Leave billboard poster to highlight the 'lies'
2. Problem with the suggestion is that the billboard was from the build up to the vote and it was quite reasonable to expect the EU to negotiate a deal before we left
3. The EU said nothing, zip, zero
4. Leave wins the vote and Cameron shits himself, the EU shit themselves and remainers shit themselves
5. The EU sulk and suddenly say they don't wish to talk until Article 50 is triggered ( obviously in some blind hope that we would never trigger it )

So it's a tad difficult to negotiate with a party that is sulking and refusing to talk, pretty much like some six year old child having a tantrum.

lol@sulking.
So, where are we? What has this debacle achieved, and how has it benefitted the country?

You've had a day to come up with an excuse for this

And that's it ? Maybe someone on the leave campaign should have read the terms of Article 50 before the vote

I have to say I am disappointed in you these days. When it wasn't so obvious what a complete and utter clusterf*** this is, and before Johnson had backed you into that ridiculous 'Good Deal ..er.. Oven Ready Deal ..er.. No deal' corner, you used to be so much more feisty.

But, of course Johnson is doing brilliantly and it's all the EU's fault acting 'like a six year old child having a tantrum'.

If only someone could have foreseen this

I agree, had Corbyn and Bercow not sulked like little kids then the deal would have been done and dusted prior to Covid.

It may have escaped your notice, but your hero and leader, Johnson and his pals were the ones voting against the deal that May tried to negotiate and is now totally incapable of getting any deal, whatsoever. What has that got to do with Corbyn or Bercow ? :lolol:

I may well be incorrect, but had the above sulkers not sabotaged, delayed and scuppered then the deal was done, irrespective of BoJo.

I may be wrong though. :moo:

A true case of be careful what you wish for.

Do you recall the deal, accepted by both sides, put to the vote? Can you remember back that far?

I think you are getting confused in your excitement with 'oven ready deals'. May had negotiated a withdrawal agreement (which I thought you may understand is significantly different to a trade deal) with the infamous 'NI backstop option'. Johnson voted against it in order to get rid of May and get the PM position for himself. There's never been a trade deal agreed by anyone

Not what I asked you. Is blaming everybody but hard line Brexiteers your fallback position or something? How has this debacle benefitted the country?
