I'm particularly intrigued by the 'Australian' model which I assume is basically no deal with a kangaroo burger attached.

The 'Australian style points system' phrase worked a treat because it sounded good to the uninitiated as it's got 'Australia' in the title which is always looked at positively, so the reality of it becomes merely extraneous and anything you want it to be, therefore I'm assuming Cummings is just doing the same with this as a result.

Politicians should maybe delete their own tweets or people may quote them.

Just need to believe more, we're gonna get a much better deal with Japan than the EU, I read it in The Sun last week

Better than being at the back of the queue!!!

That's exactly where we are. We are the only country in the world not in a trading block, and have a only handful of trading deals done with small individual countries.

The last thing Trump would want is for the UK to go grovelling back to the EU and become a member again. Trump wants the destruction of the EU

He does, but the Yanks have an affinity with the Irish, and we've broken the Good Friday Agreement. Trump also has a mantra of America First, so any trade deal with be to their benefit, not ours.

It’s been covered by every major news outlet

Indeed it is.

Amazing how one can read, to all intents and purposes, the same base story but dependent upon politics and other biases the angle of approach differs.

I simply don't take to headlines with two 'possibles'.

So The Nationalists look like they are set for Government both north and south of the Irish boarder with the likely hood of a United Ireland now firmly on the agenda meanwhile Boris is at it again bigger budget to play with so a much bigger bridge
