Celebrities having and expressing opinions has caused Brexit.

We should really end this thread here, I think it has peaked :lolol::lolol:

If you a make a point of not listening to him, how can you possibly pass judgment on what he says? How do you even know what he says?
I should have been more specific, I of course I listen to his dripping and whining, I choose not to heed his pearls of invaluable advice..
Got any 50 pence pieces you don’t need?..

On our way.

One I am a citizen of, one I still have a vote in for many years, one from where my pension will be paid. Don’t try to be smart, it doesn’t suit you.

The only people that say that are ones that have been outsmarted.

I don’t imagine he thinks you’re obliged to listen to his “advice”. Nevertheless, he’s entitled to voice his opinion no-matter his background or proclivities. Just as you’re entitled to dismiss them.
And no, I have no money that I don’t need .

Perhaps an absence of pointless, poorly written nonsense from you and Deaf Frog would speed up the process of putting the matter to one side, But then you are too needy to allow that to happen.... and you were on this thread just over an hour and a half ago so your short term memory must be shot!

Obviously, when I say I have not been on this thread for a while, it means days, you doughnut. You're such a petty man.

Personally I don't deny or resent you having the chance to crow and enjoy your pints on Friday night, but for once I have to agree with your side: 'lets just get on with it'.
Very Magnanimous of you Mr Nelson, maybe it will rub off on the likes of Lever and her sidekick Thunderbolt.

I couldn’t agree more. Millionaire politicians like Farage, Johnson, Duncan-Smith, Rees-Mogg, etc.

I see you missed off Sir Keir 'Millionaire' Starmer.

What a ****ing ass-hole.

Hugh Grant has supported the following charities listed on this site:

Grant is a patron of the DIPEx Charity, which operates the website Healthtalkonline. He is also patron of the Fynvola Foundation, named after his late mother; the foundation supports the Lady Dane Farmhouse, a home in Faversham for adults with learning disabilities.

Since the death of his mother in 2001, Grant has worked as a fundraiser and ambassador for Marie Curie Cancer Care, promoting the charity's annual Great Daffodil Appeal on several occasions. He is also a patron of Pancreatic Cancer Action.

British Forces Foundation
Centrepoint
Charity Projects Entertainment Fund
Dennis Quaid Charity Weekend
Elton John AIDS Foundation
Greenpeace
Make Poverty History
Marie Curie
Pancreatic Cancer Action
Raisa Gorbachev Foundation
Save the Children
UNICEF

British heart-throb Hugh Grant has been wooing women worldwide with his loveable, suave characters and lopsided grin, but he is not just a pretty face. Grant has been using his fame to raise the profile of charities and causes for years.
In 2001, Hugh lost his mother to pancreatic cancer. Although he has talked of how bleak this time was, he hasn’t let it drag him down. Instead, in March 2011, he teamed up with healthtalkonline.org to share his experience on the website and donated a large sum of money to setting up a specific ‘pancreatic cancer’ section of the site. Hugh also became a Patron of Pancreatic Cancer Action.
His fight against cancer didn’t stop there, however. In August, 2011, he launched a campaign to raise £200,000 for Marie Curie nurses. “I know from my own experience how important it is to have someone you love die at home, cared for by a Marie Curie nurse”, the actor told a local Bolton newspaper, the English town where the campaign was centred.
He has also supported cancer charities such as the Raisa Gorbachev Foundation, which is committed to fighting child cancer. The foundation is committed to action against cancer and ultimately aims to help eliminate cancer for good.
Aside from his support of various cancer charities, Grant spreads his philanthropic fingers far and wide. In April this year, he donated his famous ‘Love Actually’ tie to a charity auction in aid of Save the Children's ‘Ties for Tokyo’ initiative, aimed at improving the lives of young children in Japan after the devastating earthquake and tsunami.
He has shown support for UNICEF and Make Poverty History and the British Forces Foundation by attending a number of their charity events , such as the Live 8 concert and sharing some love through a celebrity kissing booth.

What a laughably ridiculous statement Mouldy!
You really seem to have trouble with timespans.
Setting aside that completely nonsensical aberration, your purpose seems to have been to enquire as to whether people on here have now been coerced into accepting your dubious values.
That is extremely petty and provocative of you but sadly you apparently need 'the buzz' of asking!

Self made millionaire (if he actually has reached a million), whose father was a toolmaker, and mother a nurse. He went to grammar school and then to university. He made the most of the brain he was given to become a top QC.
Maybe you don't like people bettering themselves and should know their place, behind all those who inherit wealth, and go to Eton?
A true Tory.

Note the designation of you to female. I don't know whether you are or not, but calling you female seems to be a sort of put down.

You're right, s/he is presumptuous, vacuous with a restricted perspective and lamentable communication skills.......

Even I didn't think you would take up this wonderful new Brexit 'opportunity' of begging spare change quite so quickly :lolol:

Not been on this thread for some time, do we still have a refusal to take it on the chin and get on with life on here then???

I believe too much porn and puff can have that effect on short term memory - unless I'm mixing up Mouldy Boots with someone else, maybe mistakenly, maybe not

My word this is a toxic thread.

I hope it's moved into 'The Other Stuff' on February 1st.

Why on earth would a thread on Brexit get moved on February 1st, while we are still paying into the EU, using all of the EU's trading terms and agreements and remaining subservient to their rules, regulations and laws ???

(Whilst having no input or influence ourselves, but that's another matter)

Why on earth would a thread on Brexit get moved on February 1st ???

Quite a few Brexit cheerleaders (from Johnson down) seem very keen to shut down / stifle / avoid further debate, on the shape, direction or outcomes of this sorry process.

Cant imagine why.

Well it should be moved today, but I guess arguers have to argue.

I'd say that entering the transition phase is a perfect time to detoxify the NSC main board.

At 11pm on Friday, to coincide with the transfer window slamming shut, we should move this thread to The Other Stuff and all the NSC Trade Experts can debate the future over there.
