Also, wage growth comfortably outstripping inflation at 3.4%, 805,000 job vacancies .. the gloomerati on here will be pleased ..

Employment is now classed as working just two hours a week on zero hours contracts. False figures.

Has anyone else noticed how 'and on and on and on' has replaced....

'get brexit done'
'take back control'
'leave means leave'
'the will of the people'

....as the latest meaningless, mindless, Brexit mantra on here? Will it catch on?

Funnily enough I would have thought that being of the punk rock generation, you would have been the first one to stand up for protests.
Democracy is corrupted in this country.

We all had a vote. Steve Bray had a vote. Didn't give him the right to piss his STOP BREXIT bellowing above just about every single Outside Broadcast outside parliament for at least the past year. Bloke's a nutter, same as the nutters that turn out on every single Royal occasion dressed head to toe in Union Jacks.

That's twice you've made the same comparison. I wonder why? The royal supporters aren't protesting but showing support, much like football fans who wear their teams colours and scarves.

Btw you are well out of step with your fellow Scots who have rejected Brexit, well and truly.

Protestors have a right to protest. Some are louder than others but I defend their right to protest, as long as there isn't any violence.

Steve Bray has not disappeared even after being attacked by thugs a few days ago. The police are dealing with it. He is back now.
He won't give in that easily.

You sound more angry, calm down, utopia in 2 weeks

We are missing TP, but your memes are making up for our loss

Has wage inflation since 2016 cancelled out fall in sterling yet? Where are we globally in the GDP per capita table, still in the mid 20's?

And I defend my right to never have had Shouty Steve Bray's name ever cross my consciousness, let alone have him attempt to hijack every single Brexit outside broadcast debate of the past year and more. Bloke's a looneytune.

Actually it DID give him the right to bellow his beliefs outside Parliament. Some people on this board have a very weak grip on what democracy means.

Yes it did, you retard. We live in a free country where this sort of thing is allowed.

You’re such a thick ****. Wasn’t it you that was convinced back in 14-15 that Bloom was only pouring 250m of his own cash into the Albion so he could build a hotel in the car park at the Amex? Prick.

Indeed. Compared to other countries in the EU the economy is good. There is plenty of work out there.

Employment is now classed as working just two hours a week on zero hours contracts. False figures.

You mean factual figures that don't fit your gloomerati world view. The ONS which is independent of Government uses an internationally recognised definition for counting who is employed. The percentage of people working less than six hours has remained fairly consistent for nearly 20 years.

But the U.K. has utterly piss poor productivity.

https://www.bbc.com/news/business-49971853

It stands to reason if you have two bone-idle lazy work shy Brits doing the work of, say one clean-cut efficient German, you will have a lot of people in employment. You need to look beyond the employment figures and look at what they’re actually doing.

Don’t believe everything the government feeds you;

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/amp....gures-should-be-millions-higher-says-research

https://www4.shu.ac.uk/research/cresr/news/real-level-unemployment-almost-35million-new-report

https://www.economicshelp.org/blog/8/unemployment/the-true-level-of-unemployment-in-uk/

There are many more sites to prove my point. This was all pointed out to the Brexit ostriches last year when the Tory’s bullshitted about the unemployment figures.
I know the Brexiteers will ignore. Not believing things doesn’t make them untrue .

Yep, we've had a productivity problem for quite some time which is somewhat surprising considering the 2.5 + million hardworking EU immigrants over here doing jobs the locals are supposedly to lazy to do ..

It’s a savvy move by my European cousins. They only need to operate at half their capacity to been seen as hard working. Why run when you can walk?

According to the government there are 17 homeless people in Brighton. So no, I am not inclined to believe their employment figures :)

I do believe there is work out there (to a degree ) but you cannot just foist some bootless, thick as mince Herbert who has never done a days graft in their life, onto an employer. Look at Ppf.
