I can’t keep getting ready for Brexit anymore.
My spare room is absolutely full to the brim of pot noodles, loo paper, bottled water and aspirin, most of which is out of date now, cos I took your advice in 2016 and ‘Got ready for Brexit’, and now I’ve got to do it all again.
I’ve shorted all my pounds, so I’m completely boracic, I moved my business to Dublin, just like Rees-Mogg, and now I have to get up at2.15 am to make it to work by 8. All the Irish hate me cos of Johnson’s watery grave, sorry, I meant Border in the Irish Sea, I’ve even been reading the Express for 3and a half years, so I can read first hand the interesting and informative articles, and, if I’m honest, reading the Express has probably been the hardest part.

So, again, unless you can convince me we will leave by the end of 2025, I’m not going to waste more time and money. LEAVE MAY MEAN LEAVE, but it’s bloody time consuming.

Now their stupid timetable has been voted down, the Government are bringing back the Queen's Speech votes this week, they could easily lose that. If somehow they're still in power on the sixth of November the Budget is up which they might not be able to get through.

How much do they want a GE? Would they be happy to get one through losing a Queen's Speech and VONC?

Quite a lot of those 17.4 million are now dead, and there's a lot of new Remainers who were too young to vote last time. But you keep on prioritising the votes of the dead over the wishes of the living

A general election will be interesting. If we haven’t left by 1st November we can expect racism’s Nigel Farage to pop up and claim he is the man to get Brexit done.
There’ll definitely be a kickback from the leave mob. It’ll boil down to who has more people on their side and the only real way to determine that is with a second referendum.

Thanks. Just watching bbc now so catching up. Consensus seems to be this is going to need 7-8 weeks to debate the proposed deal. 3-4 days is way too short.
As you say, we seem to be heading into more sensible territory.

Whatever one’s view on Brexit, this is going in a better direction.

As I read earlier, there was apparently a majority in principle in the Commons of 112 back in 1972 for joining the EEC, but once the details on all of the legislation required for the European Communities Bill was actually seen, it went down to just 8.

In detail, not in principle is required here too.

There really is no point.

He has zero understanding of how any of this works and is probably the only person in the country who understands Parliament less than three years ago.

Whilst everyone else has witnessed the Government in power self harm itself and lose any majority in Parliament, he is still clinging onto the delusion that we live under a dictatorship.

Even Sky called out Boris tonight. What the hell are you doing ? Apparently the Labour Whips asked for a short but reasonable delay to debate (we are talking a week or so) but the Tories turned them down.

It's now delayed until next year.

Cummings is going in for a serious operation in November the press (are reporting) which has already been put off. There is no guarantee he will return.

I sincerely wish him well, but I really hope that has nothing to do with this mad push.

Looks to me that there was disagreement today about their next step. Now the ridiculous deadline is over, the cracks within the cabinet will start to show. I suspect the attorney general is starting to flex his muscles.

I was waiting for their next trick after the vote but it didn't appear.

Tusk doesn't explicitly state that the extension he will recommend will be to the end of Jan 2020, as Johnson suggested.

He could recommend an extension of any duration and still be accepting the request.
