The Brexit Part would run on a platform of revoking the European Communities Act for the hardest of hard Brexits, and approximately 50% of the population might be tempted to try one parliament of an unknown party to get this done once and for all. Even if that didn't happen you would still have approx 50% of the population being positively livid.

Wouldn't this compromise be better? No remain for the hardline remainers and no hard Brext for the hard line leavers, but a compromise in the middle where we leave but remain close and leave in an orderly way, which probably only angers the fringes but provides mostly a sense of relief for something like 80% of the population and businesses.

likewise there is no majority for an alternative either. if the opposition groups could pick either referendum or revoke and stay with it, they could defeat the government's course of action. if they vote down the deal i hope they have the conviction to offer an alternative.

The cat's out of the bag re the Boris and the ERG: Vote for my Deal, worst case scenario is we don't get the free trade deal I'll ask for, in which case we leave with No Deal on the expiry of the transition period on 31st December 2020.

In the meantime we leverage by using the transition period to negotiate with the USA for a Free Trade Deal.

Any MP voting with Boris tomorrow will therefore potentially by voting for No Deal in 14 months time.

Seem to recall a day a few months back when parliament was asked to vote on something like EIGHT different flavours of Brexit. Wankers voted against every single one of them. They only ever know what they don't want. Which is no use to anyone. So they need to be coralled into making a positive binary choice.

I very much doubt it, it's obvious they're quite happy to drag this out in the belief that they could stop Brexit which is their ultimate aim
but when questioned over it come out with ' we need a Peoples vote ',we've had one of those thanks '
