Corbyn, pathetic and bootless as his opposition to No Deal has been since 2016, is doing exactly the right thing for the UK. He has finally realised that what the people were looking for is a strong voice and they will support him when he speaks out. Corbyn and the rebel MP's are protecting democracy.

What makes you so sure ? Apparently Macron didn't want to grant the extension to 31st October but was talked round by Merkel. One of the rules of the extension is that there has to be a good chance of progress being made during it. Given zero progress has been made in the last extension or the one before that, why would people like Macron decide to extend yet again ?

Initially Boris said no election, If Boris was acting for the good of the country he would be in meetings with the EU to get it sorted.

Exactly. What this will now force the UK to do is start taking negotiations seriously and stop the "F you, we'll just leave then" attitude Boris had. The EU will be much more open to a reasonable deal now they know the playground tantrums have to stop.

Sigh ….. I know you want to turn any post from a leave supporter into some desperate hope of leaving but I was pointing out what, apparently, happened last time we asked for an extension. The EU will only have so much patience ….. especially if TB's claim that no deal won't affect them is true !
