That's coming to and end thankfully, do you honestly think this stalling process will never end, bigger fool you if you do ,LEAVE MEANS LEAVE as instructed

I agree the stalling process will end. How, I don't know. We shall have to wait and see. Have patience as my fellow Albion fan said above.

The credibility of Parliament is now on the line , the Democratic decision to LEAVE the EU MUST be upheld it's gone on to long now and the stalling stops , most rational people recognise that, if you don't fall into that category well you 're going to be disappointed

I never thought I'd say this, but I agree with you on the credibility of parliament bit - though i'd go one further and say whatever happens it's now in an irrecoverable position.

I am however, rational enough to understand that I have no way of saying what the future holds, so until it does happen then any outcome can't be totally ruled out; especially given all the uncertainty over who actually will get it over the line.

I agree with you.
For all practical purposes we are gridlocked and whatever is resolved, close to half of the voting public will feel cheated and angry. People talk glibly about a leader who can 'bring our country back together' but such a person does not exist. The fracture is further exacerbated by the triumphalism of stupid people who have no idea how this will play out but somehow think they have 'won' something!

And the parties know it too. All they are trying to do is save their core vote.

Anyone outwardly supporting a political party at the moment is either

1) Stupid - the numbers in parliament make any legislation difficult wther you are a Tory or Labour.
2) Self centered to the degree they couldn't really give a toss if their beliefs are in the "minority" or quite happy their beliefs will be enforced on the majority.
3) Been asleep for the last three years.

Totally agree. There's a massive rift and I think it will take some time for things to re-align back some some semblance of unity, however i don't know how long that will take and if it'll ever happen.
Regarding the last sentence, that's very true; Both sides know what they would like to happen, or what they feel 'should' based on their own beliefs but sadly no-one can predict the future and until it happens we don't know whether we will leave with no deal, with a deal or not at all.

Or alternatively, Boycott is an ignorant wife-beating racist thug and Carney is a gifted and talented economist without whose leadership over the last few years we would be in a sight worse state than we are now.

That post will be conveniently ignored.

Leavers are very naive if they think fascism couldn’t happen in England. Or that we couldn’t find ourselves at war with a European country again. Leave voters have got soft bellied and complacent. They have no idea the level of comfort belonging to the EU has afforded them.

I see

Brexit = Belief in Britain
Scepticism + informed counter-argument = enemy of the country/people

You really do live in a simplistic world....

Geoffrey Boycott was 4 when the war ended. We came out on top? Right oh!

We needed many many allies, such as the Polish, Canadians, Americans, Australians, Kiwis, and Commonwealth to help us come out on top.
We had rationing until the 1950s.
We needed the Marshall Plan (Ie borrowing from America) to start rebuilding again.
Because there were so many casualties, we didn't have enough workforce to rebuild, so we invited Commonwealth workers to come and help us, which is why so many immigrants arrived in the 1950s.
Even in the 1960s, Harold Wilson was appealing to the public to buy British, to help save the pound from devaluation. If we could afford a package holiday, you were only allowed to take £50 out of the country.
In the 1970s, we ended up with three day weeks, strikes where the dead weren't buried, sheets weren't changed in hospitals because the laundry wasn't done, and Denis Healy producing a new budget every three months.

Many people around the Wakefield and Barnsley area know Mr Boycott for who he really is. Forgive me if I take no notice of his opinion, and, in fact, I am proud to think the exact opposite.

If you want to take advice from Mr Boycott I suggest it may be more successful if you stick to his specialist subjects (also don't take cricket tips from Mark Carney ). As a help, here's Geoffrey's proven areas of expertise

Cricket

Beating up women https://www.independent.co.uk/news/boycott-found-guilty-of-assaulting-woman-friend-1184088.html

Making Racist statements https://www.independent.co.uk/sport/cricket/geoffrey-boycott-knighthood-black-up-west-indies-cricket-confetti-viv-richard-clive-lloyd-gary-a7906186.html

Being an ignorant uneducated arse at every opportunity ..... Oh .... (Were the lessons on-to-one or were you in a group ? :))

Blimey, Boycott and 17million will be held responsible for world war III because they believe in Britain i have heard it all now.

Not a cricket fan but he is a legend.

Watch this and I challenge you not to agree.

It isn't my birthday.

I don't want to hear anything Boycott has to say. I know people that know him in South Yorkshire.

It's all our birthdays isn't it according to your thread?

Spoke well about us leaving the EU and has loads of passion, that's all I care about.

Mind you Yorkshire is a funny place.

My thread was about the football club and fans are part of the club.
I agree with Yorkshire being a funny place. That's why I moved back to Sussex as soon as I could afford it.
