Imagine if you hadn't yet made up your mind and decided to tune in to the Paxman debate on C4 tonight to help you marshall your thoughts.

Well good luck with that. To be polite, its not the 1st team from either side and Paxo is not doing a good job of chairing it - yet.

We seem to be doing ok in the EU if you ask me!

On OECD figures our GDP is up 62% in real terms since being in the Single Market. Against 42% for France, 35% for Germany and 15% Italy. Switzerland has risen by 48%
Our own Office of National Statistics thinks we have grown by 69% under the Single Market similar to America over the same period, 71%, and well above Japan at 19%!
Over the last few years we have created a couple of million jobs.
We have record levels of British born and British nationals in work!
We have low unemployment!
According to OECD studies the UK is among the least regulated advanced economies in or out of the EU. (Where is all that EU red tape!)
Look at the City of London and count the cranes (this is recognised as a good and simple indicator of economic performance!)

Just can't see how the EU is supposedly holding the UK back!

Vote Remain - you know it makes sense!

How much urbanisation are you willing to accept then remembering that a fair % is mountainous and we need a fair bit for farms so you can eat along with our growing population

Im no expert, obviously, but if there was the political will to take on the nimbys , I imagine about another 3% woul be acceptable.
This would also depend on infrastructure, etc, but seeing as the 7% figure includes roads, parks, empty urban spaces, it must be an achievable %

We wouldn't have the available money to cover that

Probably nobody else is watching. Anna Soubry (Remain) is acting like a demented loon. The whole show is a bit of a car crash so far.

Now thats a good argument "you know it makes sense". Erm - no I don't and no it doesn't. Whats makes sense is for us to remain the United Kingdom and not become part of the Forth Reich.

Really - France, Italy, Netherlands and Belgium some of the original founding members of the Common Market/EU are no less French, Italian, Dutch or Belgiums for being in the EU do you think they would want to be part of a Forth Reich or be any less independent sovereign states as they are now - so your argument is just a little silly!

Can always trust the Sun to get it right. They say Turkey have been trying to join since 2005. In fact they have been trying to join since 1987, nearly 30 years and in that time they have agreed just one chapter out of the 33 they are required to complete (I believe there are 35 in total but two are not vital). That relates to science and research. They have signed an agreement that should allow free access to their ports by EU members but they still don't allow anything from Cyprus!! (That's an island in the Mediterranean that has a veto on Turkey so it's not really a good idea to piss them off!) Talks might be starting in a couple of weeks but they will go on for years, very possibly decades if you consider how long it has taken to get one minor chapter sorted.

Why did the then French Pm do his upmost to keep us out of joining the common market as it was then and we only achieved it once he died

I don't see the connection, DeGaulle didnt want us in because he didn't want us to undermine Frances position in the Common Market, and possibly some personal dislike of the English, and particularly Churchill

Do you realise how many countries vote on such matters? Did you follow any of Cameron's negotiatons? Stupid, disingenuous, or deliberately obtuse?

All three-

Sounds a perfect description of Cameron to me

No bullied by constant scaremongering lies aimed at the older generation but then you would probably accept that

And the leave campaign hasn't uttered any half truths, lies and distortions or simply just ignored the facts! Bulled really - you just cant take the truth!
