Sorry that's not very original - but certainly clear....
....and what kind of Brexit would sooth all the angry Brexiteers? There are many types.... How do you think this anger would express itself? What about angry Remainers who think the 2016 referendum process was seriously flawed? So many questions.... aren't there?

There was only one type of question on the voting card .

...but lots of possible answers.
You're right, the whole thing was a complete farce.
We shouldn't make such a binding and massive decision based on something so badly thought out.

Thanet, where Farage started off his UKIP party, has lost all 33 UKIP councillors. A democratic vote indeed.

I suspect a lot of the former UKIP voters only did so because of Farage and now feel uncomfortable about voting for a party associated with a milk shake magnet. Brexit ain't dead but UKIP are heading that way

Leavers, we know you don't like the EU, and you voted to leave, but I hope you can now see that leaving in a complete way is not at all good for the UK. No Deal Brexiters are like Brighton fans hoping Palace lose to Cardiff, despite it being the worst result possible for Brighton.

The comparison would be Brighton getting relegated to the Conference league by Palace winning.

If those fans were told before the season started that Championship Season Tickets would be 3 times the price of Premier Season tickets, for half the games, that three of the four stands would be closed to fans, and that all kick-offs would be midweek afternoons, then that would be similar(ish).

But those Brighton fans who thought that we would get relegated before the season started would be pleased that they have been proven right :shootself

Staying in the EU would be like going down with the whole division.Do you think the Prem has borrowed to excess and can't pay off it's debts?

Most Remainers on this thread are like Man City/United fans whining on about losing in a cup final three years ago, against a newly promoted minnow that played better on the day but broke an FFP rule while constantly demanding a replay. :D

Played dirty on the day, and fielding an ineligible player (russian), and as that result was 3 seasons ago, we think it is not representative of this seasons teams, and VAR should be used.

Both sides played dirty at times, your team full of numerous high paid internationals funded by the mega-rich/FIFA, no proof any supposed illegible player affected the result which is why the result hasn't been legally overturned so obviously it stands.

Shouldn't you be working on your victory speech for when we l̶e̶f̶t̶ leave?

The whole thing was a shambles. From both sides. The Remain side was too confident and failed to deliver an informed campaign and also concentrated too much on how bad Brexit would be. They should have focussed on the upsides of being in the EU.

The Leave side appealed to the fears of immigration and a “dictatorial mega union” that was out to control us.

I don’t believe any of us are any better informed almost three years later. Which is why I don’t believe a second referendum would yield a different result.

Scrap it or get on with it.

Both sides have a lot to answer for.

One of your more sensible posts, agree with much of it.

Sometimes I do try!

The remain argument was basically “Brexit will be horrific”. Well, maybe so. But the first rule of marketing is simply don’t even mention the competition. Even if it’s to badmouth them. You do not mention them. You focus on the benefits of your “product” not the disadvantages of the competition.

Entry level error.

It is obvious that you have no information on the Brexit Party's foreign sponsors 2p, but you clearly have blind faith in 'Nige'.... I acknowledge your desperate loyalty and I am sure you will tell yourself its okay whatever is unearthed later.
I hope Nige appreciates it.
