Not wanting links? That’s odd, ive heard him say a number of times that we should have close links with European countries and be good neighbours to them, but just not through the political institution that is the EU.
Whats wrong with the children having German passports? Surely they are entitled to them via their German mother?

If it had been surrendered, it could not be taken back, so pooled is the more accurate term, if you are unsure of which is most appropriate.

The concept of shared sovereignty was one of the main themes of the original 'EU' referendum. The Daily Telegraph at the time thought it was practically monopolising the debate. It is quite wrong for Brexiteers to imply that it has crept up by stealth.

As long as the sovereign states involved maintain similar core values I am not generally fearful of it.

I can think of only one area where membership of the EU has limited Britain's freedom to do what I think it should - but we can be fairly sure that the trade deals we will have to sign in future will see us abandoning our principles to a greater extent than now.

In that case, there are a few options as to how to proceed, one of which is to let the people choose to accept or reject the deal. You have said previously that if the deal is rejected, that should mean that we leave without one, but I feel Parliament is unlikely to allow that to be the only alternative, if it is offered as an option at all, so however much you may not want it, it is quite likely that it will happen, and the option to remain will be on the paper.

Took a seven month parliamentary process for the Referendum Act legislation last time. The electoral commission now recommends six months between legislation being passed and a referendum taking place.
Quite a bit to do then before 29th march especially when you consider Downing street has repeatedly said there will not be another one.

How on earth can anyone say it would be undemocratic I have another vote on the deal when everyone agrees this is not what people voted for? I don’t understand.

Surely many people who voted leave have realised they were sold false promises and if this is what brexit looks like then they should have a chance to agree or not.

She also said that Britain “would have to swallow a link between access to products and fisheries in future agreements”, in a leaked note of the meeting on Friday.

Yeah, I think May would win a General Election quite easily if she can get this through. Corbyn has been way too passive during all this, possibly by design as the Tories are eating themselves.

I'm in Berlin at the moment, so you'd think that the Brexit agreement would be big news. In the paper I read this morning, there was a one paragraph story on page 3, there was more space given to Michelle Obama. Shows the significance of the UK to the Europeam psyche.
