Oh come on. They can pass an act of parliament in less than 6 months! If they can't do that we are all ****ed.

Dont forget re another referendum the electoral commission now recommends a six-month gap after legislation has been passed before a referendum is held.

Shh ... don't upset Plooks with facts .... he knows better than the EC. Probably best not to point out it's now six months until we leave now either.

Bloody Worthing!
"Personally I'd scrap the £40 billion pay out and leave with no deal and then go from there!!

Don't get bullied by these idiots who relentlessly demand we do everything that suits them and it's time we stood up and told them where to go."

Err...……………….

But JRM is absent, there's splits within the splits. Meanwhile still no alternative swivel eyed plan

That's a good point. This is a bunch of 'rebels' by inclination, habit and probably personality. They can unite reasonably well around what they don't want but actually coming up with a coherent and agreed platform for something positive will be a challenge. Plus being a bunch of venal politicians (true by definition) there will be conflicting personal ambitions. Not so much Game of Cards as Game of Cads.

Just look at the enthusiasm amongst these brexiters for yesterday's proposals. Don't worry, it's not the end of the world seems appropriate!

It's a vile organisation that's already destroyed Europe and virtually all the smaller countries have no hope of ever leaving it.They want to make it as hard as possible to leave and that really sums up the whole hideous EU project.
The sooner it crumbles the better for Europe !!

I’m sorry. You have decided to make Swindon your home. Why should anyone therefore trust your view or judgment?

Haha. What a ridiculous, pathetic statement.

In the last 10 days, I've visited France, Belgium, Holland, Germany and Ireland, and every one of them appeared to a. still exist, and b. be functioning entirely normally.

Project fear. “Destroyed Europe”?!!!
Fair enough if one is not in favour of the EU, by all means state your case. Your rhetoric is just baby talk. Histrionics . Girly.

I see The Honourable Member for the 18th Century is finally starting to get there over what's going to happen at the ports post Brexit and admits friction-less trade is going to end outside the single market and customs union, but had to still show he's ultimately clueless by citing 6 seconds clearance at a container port like Southampton rather than a roll on/roll off one. Never the less, it's encouraging to see Mr Rees-Mogg almost knows something about the real world.
