Strange - I thought Poundshops sprung up and proliferated in every High Street only after we joined the EU and whilst we were still in it. Still, if it makes some desperate people feel better blaming them on Brexit, so be it.To the tune of 'There'll Always be an England' that great patriotic song that saw us through the War which we won.

Hate and bile is easy and quick to express. Compassion and understanding takes time and is more complex. Luckily hate has a very short half life and the other stuff lingers forever. “Pathetic” is a very quick word to type.
