Rape of Hastings, Sussex
Your convuleted but entertaining points do show the poorer areas are often effected the most re large scale immigration even in a generally affluent county like Sussex. Although you seem to be fine with it I note Hastings voted leave by a large majority, and East Midlands voted leave by an even bigger majority. Two thirds of areas around the country that have seen the most significant rises in foreign born migrants also voted leave.

(In your defence the amount of european girls you have referenced 'encountering' from first love to recently ... over numerous threads I can completely understand why you are such a staunch remainer.:D)

Incidentally I just had a look as it used to be archived on the Hastings Observer website, but even better than that, The BBC have it saved for posterity - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/southern_counties/4557592.stm

Obviously that report was the day after so it is slightly inaccurate - the stabbings were totally unconnected.

I also remember when The Admiral Benbow was in the news back in 1999. It's sort of why Mr Moore did his report from South Central St. Leonard's on immigration - a girl who'd been drinking in there was attacked and raped when walking home. It was unsolved I believe, but the suspect was one of the Kosovans staying at The Adelphi refugee hostel on Warrior Square. That's long closed now as I said earlier, but having somewhere like that in your community really was a different ball game when it came to immigration. I can recall in the 1990's for example a group of Iraqi's staying there playing football on Warrior Square Gardens, which after their match finished they decided to have a replay - of the Iran/Iraq war. Shias and Sunnis had a mass, pitched battle with each other in St.Leonard's. 3 police forces got involved afterwards as Kent Police took some to another hostel in Ashford and The Met took some to London.

(Typical Home Office though - they all look the same, they all talk the same, send them to Hastings, what's the worse that's going to happen. )

Never heard of it before, ive read one page once, roughly the same amount you have..........why do i get the impression your class warrior radar has just given you a hard on though............get a life Wolfie.

I didn't waste my time reading any of it. As I don't wear wax jackets or red trousers I got the distinct impression it wouldn't really interest me.

Nowadays if you want to see a half naked skank sprawled all over a ford escort you just take a drive over to Hastings and seek out one of MOS`s many ex girlfriends.

Wouldn't have thought a publication called Country Squire Magazine existed this century, complete with last century attitude articles, but you live and learn.

And, dear Brexit numpties, my goodness what an embarrassment this all is. Where is Farage, hail the King Nigel? Where is Boris? Where is Theresa? Christ, if I wanted to build a castle I wouldn't use shit for bricks. If I wanted to have a deal with Europe I wouldn't start by surrendering. What the actual ****? Brexit makes me think of a sad old bloke in debt who, when pissed, decides to burn down hs own house for the insurance. As he's being led away by the old bill, he is protesting to the neighbours 'trust me, something good will come of this'.

Some of you ****ers should be ashamed of yourselves. But you are either too deluded or just too thick to understand what's happened. And your kids will pay.

You used to come across as a really intelligent poster on all the threads you posted on. Now you just rant, throw insults and carry out some bizarre campaign about blocking people. What happened ?

True. Brexit has exposed some of the most disgustingly self-centred people.

The last few comments illustrate the divisions are not healing in any way. Both sides trying to claim the moral high ground whilst flinging bile at the other.

The irony.

As you say remainers are the true patriots. Leavers generally just close up, they get older and their worlds become smaller and smaller

what data? he'd have reports from the count, same as anyone else, polling data is compiled by pollsters and sold to their clients. i wouldnt put it past him, but this is giving him too much credit that he knew somethings others didnt.

He had access to private polling data, the legality of which is questionable, the very same data that was used to hedge against the fall in the pound that was forthcoming. Essentially then he lied - He said that the polling he had seen led him to admit defeat when the opposite was the (likely to be) case. Maybe this isn't the place for a debate on Nigel Farage, but boy has he hoodwinked a lot of people!

Are you deluded? - short answer is yes you are.

Are you being deliberately dense? Maybe I should give you rhe benefit of the doubt, but I don't really see why I should. I'll try and explain it to you.

Britain voted to eave the EU. I assume you accept this as a fact?

A vast majority of MPs, members of the Lords, and senior civil servants are avidly in favour of the EU, and while the government is trying to carry out the process of Brexit, pretty much the whole political community of Westminster are doing their best to sabotage every step the government take, in the hope of de-railing the Brexit process, overturning the result of the referendum and remaining in the EU. That too is a fact

That is what the Lords are trying to do - reverse/ignore the referendum and stay in the EU.
That is what the Lib Dems and most of the PLP, plus the SNP and the Greens are trying to do.
That is what that Gina Miller woman was trying to do.
If you can't see that, I can only assume you can't manage to take your Euro-tinted glasses off. We who voted leave did not make a mistake - we wanted to leave the EU and are still determined to hold the government to its commitment to do so. That the government is making heavy weather of it is not the fault of leave voters - it is down to wealthy and influential remainers who don't want Brexit to happen at all, good deal, bad deal, or no deal at all.

So it's either your Euro-tinted specs then, or sorry you really are dense.

You name or number so many many people/ organisations who you fear are against this advisory referendum result and want it reversed or not acted on! Maybe you know best and they're all wrong and have vested interests or ulterior motives to remain or stay somehow linked into the EC or even more strange, perhaps, just maybe, I know this is far fetched but....... could you be possibly somehow misguided yourself, as I stated "far fetched" I know but.............

I see the price of British strawberries is very low due to the massive amounts that have been picked this year.Aldi have bought 112 tons so far-must have imported their own pickers from Germany,to stop "the crops rotting in the fields".Yet another piece of Twatter rubbish shot down in flames, but I don't suppose the twatterati will admit they're wrong.
Think that Harry Wilson's gone a bit GregBrighton.Perhaps they have a lot of diesel BMW,Mercedes, and Audis in Faversham. All that nitrous oxide pollution has damaged his brain, perhaps.I'm glad we don't have as many up here-local manufacturers build cleaner cars.

I see Honda are the latest to say that no deal means they will be screwed and any change from current arrangements which cause delays will be a major issue. https://amp.ft.com/content/8f46b0d4-77b6-11e8-8e67-1e1a0846c475?__twitter_impression=true

A factory twice the size of the main Amazon distribution centre in America you say? Get building and stop moaning.

Or might they decide that access is more important and start moving?

Kicking a can down the street can only go on so long....will some red lines be erased?

Bloody Worthing!
“There is no Brexit dividend for our industry, particularly in what is an increasingly hostile and protectionist global trading environment. Our message to government is that until it can demonstrate exactly how a new model for customs and trade with the EU can replicate the benefits we currently enjoy, don’t change it,” he said.

The worrying words of the leader of UK car industry (about 850 000 jobs).
