I am completely open to views from other people, whether they are the President, unemployed or Trump. I happen to think what Obama said makes sense. Nothing interfering about it, just more for people to contemplate before they cast their vote in what is a huge decision for all
Where does it all end? Next general election, perhaps Obama is wheeled in to support the Tories because although he is a 'liberal', he thinks they'll be better than what labour offers. That kind of scenario is similar to the referendum scenario and is completely unacceptable.

Sent straight from the boot of Lingard

How can you say there is nothing interfering about it? Whether you think he was right or wrong it is still interference. It's OUR referendum not the rest of the worlds!

Probably 30k - 40k a year on top of Albanians, Romainians, Bulgarians, Polish and everyone else, not including the refugees / economic migrants who will get EU citizenship one day and the ones that already have.

We could be seeing migration running at 600k a year in total quite easily, and this still doesn't include the illegals.
It is far too many people now, and it will far too many people in the future.

They took the piss out of Farage when Romania and Bulgaria got free movement to the EU, but year on year we have seen an increase of people coming to this country.

You would have thought if mass migration was really a good thing the supporters of free movement would be shouting about extending this great ideal to all non EU countries everywhere ,and the UK abandoning all together its current tiered immigration policy towards non EU nationals.
None of them are calling for this.
Bunch of Hypocrites!

I do extrapolate into bull just for the sake of it son.
Thought I better point out I was being sarcastic, a lot of dense people on here.

Indeed, there are many here, usually the obnoxious ones (i dont really have you in this group though). Shame but its often down to people not working hard enough during their education

Turkey is on a path to joining. It wont be soon. Its years away, Cameron said it will be decades,i`ll go along with that. But it will still be joining.
Many of us will be long gone before it joins but the attitude of its not any time soon don’t worry about it is absurd.

The remain camp thinks only of the now and the present ,concerned only whats going to be in their pockets next year.
They need to put away this selfish attitude and think long term, even beyond decades. This is the legacy this vote leaves to future generations, vote to stay in and you give the EU the green light to carry on the project.
I don’t want to leave the problem of turkey joining to even my great grandchildren,I know you remainiens don’t either as you havnt once said Turkey joining is a good idea.
Vote LEAVE and stop thinking of just yourself.

Don't you trust your grandchildren to solve this "problem", if it is one, if it ever arises?

You're right, let's think long term. For example the £4300 we'll all be losing every year by 2030 because we've cut ourselves adrift from our biggest economic partner.

I'm hopeful my great great grandchildren will be able to sign the very first trade agreement the Brexiters have finalised. It will probably be with Peru or Albania though.

NHS is a good place to argue for remain. As Chief Exec of the NHS said today.

http://www.theguardian.com/politics...simon-stevens-brexit-dangerous-health-service

The chief executive of the NHS in England has warned that Britain leaving the EU could send the economy into a “tailspin” that would have a damaging knock-on effect for the health service.

“If Mark Carney is right then that is a severe concern for the National Health Service. Because it would be very dangerous if at precisely the moment the NHS is going to need extra funding actually the economy goes into a tailspin and that funding is not there,” Stevens told BBC1’s The Andrew Marr Show.

“It has been true for the 68 years of the NHS’s history that when the British economy sneezes the NHS catches a cold. This would be a terrible time for that to happen, at just the time that the NHS is going to need that investment.”

It's also true that pensioners in Spain, even if they invoice the NHS, are using Spanish hospital time and beds. Freeing up resources back home.

It's also true that even if the Spanish health services invoice the NHS they are still using Spanish hospital beds, and the time of Spanish doctors - freeing up resources back home.

Stevens said it was not his job to tell the British people how to vote, but made it very clear that he believed there was no potential benefit to the NHS from Brexit.

He said the NHS had benefited “enormously” from 130,000 European Union doctors, nurses and care-workers."

Sounds a bit excessive to me-that only leaves 20,000 doctors from the rest of the world

I can't help but notice that the comments here have been headed in the general direction of being far more offensive the past week or two. Are the two sides really so polarised? If so it doesn't bode well for after the referendum, irrespective of the result.

Been saying that for days. It doesn't bode well. Outers consider Inners as nothing more than traitorous scum that view the sovereignty of these isles with disdain. 200 years ago they would have been hung, drawn and quartered for treason. Monarchy have lost their heads for less.

This film contains lots of facts not suppositions. The poll would indicate that either a lot of people are not using facts as a guide to whether they are voting in or out. It's rather long but give it some time, you may decide that leaving is the right decision.

I think the issue with "facts" is that to qualify as such they have to be arguable from one side only (not the same facts recycled by both camps to say the opposite). Irrefutable is the word I think and it is where both fall down.
In so many instances on both sides of this debate words like integrity, honesty and believable seem to be less appropriate than disingenuous, manipulative and dishonest.
You get my drift.

Those who had already made their minds up before this campaign began will be safe from any influence to the contrary while those who were previously ambivalent or undecided will either not bother voting or be conned by the least inept of the two protagonists. So far the "remains" appear to be winning that scrap (just). I increasingly suspect that Cameron must have promised Boris the PM gig if he can properly screw up the Brexit campaign! Gove as Chancellor then?
