Looks like the Czech Republic might be next out the door. The EU are threatening them with fines and withdrawal of all their handouts if they don't start taking their 35,000 share of the refugees from Italy and Greece.Wonder why they don't want them????

Revoking of Human Rights, and you're not worried. Strange

Think you will find Magna Carta was signed a bit prior to any European Human Rights legislation!

Well what a waste of time that was.Full of might, possibly, could, etc, with a sparsity of facts that was truly remarkable. The only interesting thing in there was the fact that Norway have never repealed any of the pre-EU trade agreements made after we freed them from German occupation.

There was talk of it in the first couple of months 2016. Hows it panning out?
The reason they dont want them, is they dont see themselves the cause of the problem.

Did anyone else find the appearance of Corbyn at Glamstonbury incredibly nauseating ...?? I found it absolutely incredible.....a damning indication of the depths to which British pollies , the Glasonbury festival and Britain in general have sunk.......if a politican had taken to the stage in the early to mid 80's he would have been weighed in , as far as i'm concerned that was a an effing liberty by both him and the organisers....British politics is in such a terrible state , being dragged around and prodded like a dying corpse by an out of control media....terrible state of affairs.

Erm no, the youth have found someone that speaks for them, it's thanks to the youth that they've uncovered all the shite and lies the generations before them have just been blindly sweeping under the carpet.

In the early 80s the festival was organised in conjunction with CND - it has, like Michael Eavis it's organiser, always had a left wing agenda, if anything it is less politicised now than it was in the 80s.

Fair play to them along with Hungary and Poland. No country should be forced to take refugees, who the **** do the EU think they are.

What's your view on the Norwegian paper that had the interview with their European Affairs minister, that they reported?

I can't even be bothered to read it, why? Because what they say and what actually happens will be completely different.

What on earth has that got to do with anything.

You might as well have said that virtually all of the Magna Carta was repealed from the statue book prior to any European Human Rights legislation!

Sign they are looking to call an early election or that they are no longer in control of events? DUP withdraw their support or a few Tory MP's decide to rebel and they're in trouble so they have to be prepared for an election. After thinking they would win with a 20% poll lead I doubt they would risk another go even if they did get a minor uplift from a new leader (they are currently behind in the polls).

I think they are looking to stabilse and hang on in there for as long as possible.

Conjecture of course but it's possible that, as bad as things seem at the moment, things could get worse for the Conservatives - if the talks go badly for example, or if a large inward investor such as BMW or Aerospace reached for the plug. The party would have prior knowledge of gathering clouds and might, especially if they appoint a new manager, decide to go for it.

Is it fair to assume that those strongly against a second referendum would be furious with the Tory Party if it decided to do this?

Possible but not very likely. The Tories would crawl over broken glass to stay in power and keep Corbyn out of number 10 even if that means hanging on till 2022 (plus they can oversee Brexit).

You didn't bother reading back through all those posts then, we have definitely covered this before. See false equivalency. A government calling an election is hardly the same thing as the losing side in a referendum calling for another referendum before the first decision can be enacted with the purpose of thwarting/reversing that decision. Please note the post number for future reference.
