I'm in need of a cash injection,so I'll release the results from two exploratory wells I've dug,with absolutely no proof of any connection between the two.If I say there's the possibility of an enormous field I should get the cash I need,if I can find somebody gullible enough.The only way they can deliver any oil that happens to be there is by fracking-thought your lot didn't like that.

Now I don't know the author very well but he doesn't strike me as a narrow minded, ill-educated racist. Of course, other views are available.

Not sure how useful it is to compare growth in developing countries over past decades to become developed, to growth in a developed country in the coming ones, or to Norway as a non EU member as it is in the EEA. He goes on to suggest we could do that, and at the time of his blog post, it was a possibility, but it doesn't look likely now.
I would be reasonably content if we end up much like Norway in relations with the EU, but it seems that would not be out enough for the more ardent leave supporters.

Why double standards?They have already had a referendum on independence quite recently,if I remember rightly,and voted quite clearly to stay in the Union.Do you want the EU-type referendums in this country-keep voting till you get the answer you want?

But one of the reasons for voting to remain in the UK, was it included membership of the EU, which an independent Scotland could not guarantee. Now, the situation is very different, and an independent Scotland is the best chance for Scots to be EU citizens.

Well. I suppose that there are those that have opinions on both sides, right and wrong, opinions no less.
Much has been said lately that the Leave voters did not know what they were voting for..... and more disrespectful views have been aired, about their views.
So the Remain supporters gathered to protest, fair enough, obviously they knew what and why they were at the rally..........or do they.

Single standards, double standards whatever. If their government decide they want to have a second referenda it should be up to them.

There won't be a deal.

The EU won't agree anything before the next UK election - as they'll see this as a realistic point for the UK to re-assess the situation.

Which means May will have to either negotiate past this ( if she is still PM and also not in a coalition ), or leave before the UK election without a deal in place.
