That's because nobody knows what Brexit is yet apparently 'we' voted for it anyway. Still don't.
Brexit is Brexit.....do keep up

If Brexit doesn't scare you, you don't understand what Brexit is.
Brexit doesn't scare me but the attitude of the EU does. At the start their approach was 'just get it done - invoke article 50 and let's get started'. Then their chief negotiator told us all there would only be a hard brexit - no other option was available. Now we're being told that there will be no discussion before we invoke article 50 - yet all along they're setting out their stall for us all to see. I can see that stall being toppled into the nearest ditch when negotiations start but until then it's being left there to scare us.
The EU know that they can't order us to hold another referendum like they did to Ireland but they're now trying to influence public opinion and scare us into a rethink. This approach will fail but I'm now of the opinion that we should be invoking art 50 asap.

Oh, and don't believe for a minute that all these legal challenges aren't EU inspired.
No sane government would take us out of the single market, but it is a possibility. But it is not just whether they will be able to remain, it is also what their status will be if it is.
Will those here get a sort of dual nationality? A work visa? Do they have to make a choice, between becoming British citizens and losing citizenship of the EU, or leaving? Will they be entitled to benefits? What will happen if they go home for a year to look after a relative? If Calde wants to come back and coach in Brighton, will he be allowed back as he has spent so many years here, or does a year working elsewhere bar him? What happens when they reach retirement? If they need to use the NHS, will we be billing their home country? Can they use State schools? What happens if they lose their job? Can they claim benefits?

Which reminds me.
l took two coach-loads of people who suffer with Anxiety and Paranoia to an xmas pantomime last night, it was all going great, then some idiot shouted,"he's behind you" then all hell let loose,
Mate you seriously need to chill you seem to be making up to many problems of your own ,.. almost as if you want it to be complicated.
Common sense should and most probably will apply to all of them... those that are legally here and who wish to remain here would become British citizens not EU citizens therefore they will have exactly the same rights as any other British citizen... i.e claiming NHS Benefits etc etc...as for the illegals their future in the land of handouts wont be so great ..most probably get sent packing who cares.. just as long as my tax bill is not propping them up for the indefinite future i couldn't care less.
.
..
Just trying to point out that there is more to it than just saying, they can stay. They have to have some sort of legal status, and if we do not have the current eligibility rules, we will need some new ones. I don't know why you think illegal immigrants are going to be easier to root out after we leave the EU?
Obviously we will need to set some new rules in place as to accommodate the legals, the illegals however would most likely be sent back to their country of origin,at the expense of the tax payer, or even worse case scenario we suffer our losses and grant them British citizenship .. , unfortunately that is the price you pay for having a soft government in the first place,
Hopefully there on after and once everything is achieved we can move on and start a fresh. toughen up by looking after our own interests first .for a change. no more being the mugs of this world. , . .
Won't it be fantastic once we've taken back control? Our great British government finally in complete control, free from those boring sensible Europeans... Yeah, that super govt responsible for Southern rail, and... The brilliant way schools are being run... The direction the NHS is heading...
Everything's going to be sweet!
Well, I don't have a crystal ball, time machine or the ability to change the result of the 75 referendum but I believe we would have been overall better off if we'd stayed out. It may have been difficult at the start but we'd have made a better job of it than had we stayed in.
