I was delighted to welcome Mr THPP and Mr Doug Deep into the best Albion football pub in Brighton yesterday. Its a proper pub for proper Albion fans. See you boys in there Tuesday too.

Forget the publican's possible fines etc then .... what about the barman that serves you - he gets a fine as well and he or she will only be on minimum wage.

some light, oop the hill at dyke road tavern..
more scaffolding, builders bits (tools, not bums, oh never mind..) seen at the also recently closed down dyke road tavern, opposite esso garage..
if reading this on one of those moderm ypod thingys, gp up south road, under the bridge, turn left and carry on up the steep millers road, to the traffic lights..
when there, take a rest, have a look, then turn left down dyke road approx 1/2 mile, to the good companions and quench thirst there.
(G.C. is still open as normal, afaik..)

The council's revenue scheme (recommended on here by one or two locals) means you have to pay 9am until 8pm seven days a week.
