He was one of the first people to get onto the pitch and help tear the goal posts down against York.
Since then, his life has changed dramatically.
I bet he wanted sponsoring for that.

Can't be any worse than it was- overpriced with shocking beer (quality and selection) previously.
Roof terrace could be decent if they employ some staff who give a **** and don't sell overpriced poorly kept beer. I fear they may fail on these points, but a half decent pub in that location with some outdoor space will be a bonus. Will not compete with the charm of the Battle, the food at the Yeoman, or the overall excellence of the Evening Star.

I wish him and the pub all the luck. I know he was having input into beer pricing but if I know Fullers pubs and pints start at north of £4 for ale, it will struggle. Too much choice with better beers in the area.
That said, the idea of a gin bar is a superb one. The roof terrace looks great as well.
I take it the "secret garden" is the one that's always been there

And also at Fontwell and Plumpton racecourses. I assume he has also graced the bar at Goodwood and the dog track to complete the set.

I thought the GC was refurbed only a year or two ago.. Think may have over priced their nosh, a tad.
