Boris has had plenty of skeletons in the closet for some time. Forget Brexit, he is genuinely a nasty piece of work with a very long previous charge sheet.

No surprise the skeletons are falling out the cupboard. Johnson was always an accident waiting to happen. From his time at the Times & Telegraph through to the present, he's been proven a liar and dodgier than a nine quid note. Despite being sacked from the Times for fabricating quotes plus implicated in a conspiracy to have a fellow journalist beaten up who was investigating his fraudster Eton mate, he still managed to get elected to parliament thanks to his managed public persona as a lovable buffoon. As a shadow minister he was sacked by Michael Howard for lying. A continuous stream of lies, gaffs plus awful decisions during his stint as London Mayor, any person of sane mind could see he was unfit for office. Sadly, plenty have fallen for the false front. When the mask slips he's a nasty piece of work as has been shown by his recent performances in Parliament.

The Arcuri affair could finally be his downfall. Assisting in the misuse of public funds when in office is serious shit. What he was up to in Blondie's pad in Shoreditch will be the least of his worries.

So why has it taken them three years to react to this, is it perhaps because he is close to getting us out of the EU??

Because that Labour loving, pro Brexit, Murdoch owned, left wing newspaper The Times broke the story last week. Do keep up.

You can attempt to link this to Brexit all you like but shenanigans like this within in his administration helped bring down Livingstone too.

Boris has so many skeletons in his cupboard he's had to put some in storage. He was a disaster as London Mayor (whatever he tells you) and wasted hundreds of millions on failed projects, some of which he was just a little bit too close to personally.

He a wrong 'un and a ****ing nasty one at that. Even his family agree. All the establishment know just like they knew about Jeffrey Archer.

Sensible Tories like Thatcher kept MPs like Johnson and Archer on a short lead. Give them a non job like Chairman and allow them to arouse the devoid of reality members and raise a bit of cash.

Unfortunately Cameron and May weren't sensible Tories and should have killed Johnson's career years ago.

Johnson is just the new Archer.

You've been played.

I bet he's regretting not just sticking to his behind the scenes philandering, confidence tricks and general dark dealings rather than trying to mix it with the big boys. He thought he could ride roughshod over democracy and he is getting royally educated. Similar to Brexiteers really.

It's too much to hope for that he'll get an punishment for his crimes but at least he has been exposed for the git he is. Unfortunately, as with Trump. The more you expose their flaws and crimes, the more their supporters like them. These are the reasons they support them.

No good trying to get Trump on being racist. His supporters are all racist.
No good trying to get Johnson on being undemocratic. All his supporters are too.

It's a crazy world we live in where anyone who believes in Brexit can do no wrong. The irony of course, Boris doesn't even support it.

You've been played.

I've not been played at all, in fact I'm beginning to believe that Boris is a plant brought in by the Brexit-deniers to screw up the whole process and keep us in.
How can a country with no legitimate leader or government uphold an international treaty?
Being found dead in a ditch is looking decidedly likely.
But who will pull the trigger?

Apart from voting in the majority, obviously.

It's an interesting idea but the reason we are still in the EU is a lot simpler; Brexit is unworkable and that's why it hasn't worked.

Oh Jesus Mother Of God. I've heard IT ALL NOW.

He IS A PLANT brought in by the frothing in the mouth right wing of the Tory Party, who know they are un-electable but think Boris actually is because he won a couple of London elections.

Ok let me educate you, it's a London secret. It's a protest vote with the added security they can do no damage.

New Labour ban on Livingstone = Vote Livingstone.

Pissed off with New Labour = Vote Boris.

Pissed off with Tories pathetic racist attempt to smear Khan = Vote Khan.

We having a bit of a laugh up here, but I apologise that we convinced the Tory party that Boris was fit for public office. Our bad.

No conspiracy theory. I can confirm he is a plant. The whole plan was funded by George Soros.

Amazing.

All parties have the odd wrong'un. Just look at Labour during the expenses scandal. Unfortunately some people are unable to separate the individual from the party.

I honestly believed Boris would never become PM because:

1) He is a wrong'un. I'd thought they learnt from Archer.
2) Doesn't really have any ideological political beliefs.
3) In stark economic terms believes in freedom of movement, immigration and an amnesty on illegal immigration . That's the only thing he is politically consistent on.
4) Is vaguely environmental (not something Tories are comfortable with), in a nod to his father but will go all quiet on that when push comes to shove.

He simply doesn't fit.

However, I'd underestimated what a tragic and weakened position the Tory party have found themselves in. In such situations they throw ideology out the window and go for power in any way possible. That means attempting to attract the frothing at the mouth, string them up, send them all back, cut taxes for the wealthy electorate.

However they've noted that won't quite be enough this time so they are also planning to max out the credit card too.

Final piece of the jigsaw ? Stick this utter buffoon wrong'un up front, because they believe the "electorate" are thick enough to vote for a dog to win Britain's Got Talent.

Why not Boris ?

You don't need to educate me on anything, you come over as just another arrogant Londoner who thinks they run the country.
I don't know who voted for Boris or why, but he is doing nothing uphold the referendum result.
