Yeah I'm sure Thatcher would have been over the moon about devolution and having an old Etonian like Boris is charge because she just LOVED them :)

So you vote then chose a 2nd option ?

You don't have to choose a second option, but yes.

You also have to vote for your "local" member of the assembly, and a london wide member of the assembly.

It's relatively complicated and sophisticated and therefore generally keeps the BNP vote down.
