I thibk it's pretty remarkable that he's going to get the port vale job. I guess it's on the basis that in his earlier incarnation he won promotion from the basement three times. Going on last season's nightmare I'm not sure he'll be able to do it again. Good luck to him though.

Didn't MA initially bring him here, and try to take him to Leicester, before taking Alan Cork instead. He also brought him back here last summer from the Counties League I believe. If he didn't like working with him then he wouldn't have done that would he?

Yes he did and he also had him work with him at Brentford (well spotted whoever it was). So given you seem to think you know the ins and outs of a ducks arse and have a hotline to the great man himself; why didnt he want him to work with him when he was at Coventry and Booker was in joint charge at Pease Pottage and unemployed?

Cant see why all the negativity about Adams (bordering on wishing he fails). Yes it was a mistake for Adams to come back to Brighton.....the old addage of never going back certainly rings true. But that doesn't lesson how well he did with us first time around.

Personally I think Adams is a man motivator type of manager more than a tactic type. He is probably more suited to L2. Nothing wrong with that. Perhaps all the early hype about Adams being a Premier League manager was misplaced.

A few wins, his confidence will come back and I can see Port Vale doing ok. I for one wish him well.

I hope the PV fans treat him a damn sight better than we did.

Good Luck Mickey, and thanks for the memories.

Perhaps HE'LL show THEM a little more respect than he did to the fans here?

Or possibly he'll just serve up a load of shit, then tell them they 'just have to stick with it', and claim no-one ever told him they had to be out of the bottom four by ........

You disappoint me. Your posts usually rise above this kind of ignorant drivel. I know that he got shot of your sister's ex, but this post is rather late in the day for sour grapes.

Excuse me?

It's neither drivel, nor ignorant. Adams treated the fans appallingly the second time round.

Whether he released Ormerod or not has zero to do with anything.

There's no sour grapes from me - his tenure was hugely dissappointing and I was thrilled when he left. That doesn't mean I wish for him to fail, though I think he probably will.

My 'dig' above, if you choose to see it as that, is not aimed at Adams at all, but at deluded Albion fans who think that HE was treated with a lack of respect. That is just a nonsense.
