ExactlyBad fan maybe but one boo from me when Bart for the fourth time put his foot on the ball and seemed to have no clue as to what to do next. He missed numerous opportunities to get the ball forward when we 3 on 3 with chance of a break. Might not have come to anything but you don't score with the ball in your own half ...
Feint/brief booing heard near top of WSU. I didn't hear anyone near me booing - plus I don't fit the age profile, so it wasn't meLoud in NS and from NW corner. People all around is, exactly the same at final whistle after the Stains debacle.
The booers … blokes age 30 to 60 .
The two season ticket holders that sit to my left couldn't make the game and their tickets sold on the exchange. Two blokes - one 40s and one 60s maybe. Brighton scarves/gloves. I noticed the chap next to me checking train times on his phone in the second half. Shortly after they got up and left. Me and the STH to my right looked at each other open mouthed ... this was on 72 minutesOther than you, they’ve all ran for trains by then. ESU and ESL every game for years is noticeably the first with huge gaps from 75 minutes. The age old excuse is “my kids have school the next day”.
Spot on ...To describe the team being "booed off" is absolutely laughable. Claiming the team was booed off would suggest a sustained cascade of fury from the stands raining down as the players all trooped off down the tunnel. What actually happened was a few grumbles of discontent on the final whistle that died out quickly, nothing more than that.
Typical media bollocks trying to create a narrative where there is none.
Oddly, the opposite happened where I am in WSU. Apart from the two chaps next to me who left on 72 minutes - hardly anyone else left in my area. No doubt hoping for a last minute winner. It meant that on the final whistle. it took the longest time I can remember getting down to the exit as there were more people than usual leaving at the same time.Loads of gaps in all stands by the end, North cleared as quick as the rest. More of a collective groan than anyy concerted booing I'd say.
I did (not from the North though I don't think)I didn't hear any in the north
I was watching on a stream, and the co-commentator in the last 20 minutes said something about the fans clearly expressing their frustrations and disappointments and that he hadn't heard it so clearly at the Amex before. And, like you, went on to reference Hughton's end of tenure. Not sure who he was. What stand were you in? In the NS last 20 minutes I’d say there was increasing anger with players skying to row z, or not shooting at all, dithering and setting Brentford away. It really was a big thing, I haven’t seen that for years …. Hughton’s final home games? The booing was probably the same folk, signing off for the night.

The frustration imo was coming from VB holding on to the ball repeatedly for what seemed ages …..then trying the same pass to a forward who invariably lost itI was watching on a stream, and the co-commentator in the last 20 minutes said something about the fans clearly expressing their frustrations and disappointments and that he hadn't heard it so clearly at the Amex before. Unfortunately not very good with his hands.Steele (the nsc punchbag) was simply brilliant with his distribution. Are there stats for assists for assists?
I get why he does it, but he must have worked out that opposition teams also know why he’s doing. I’m interested in what @Weststander raises re Steele’s distribution variety versus Bart’s.Bad fan maybe but one boo from me when Bart for the fourth time put his foot on the ball and seemed to have no clue as to what to do next.
