I will be there next Sunday but I was also at Bognor this afternoon. Very poor Bognor side was let off the hook by Lewes today as we could have been five up by half time.
Next week should be interesting as there is no love lost between Lewes and Newport. Come along could be fun. £10 for adults 12:00 Kick Off.

As supporters will be aware on the advice of East Sussex Police our fixture with Lewes is now on Sunday 2nd September 2007 with a 12 noon Kick Off. In order to ensure that the team has the right preparation for this fixture an overnight stay is essential, we are asking supporters to assist us with financing this by supporting our raffle.
Tickets are £2.00 a strip and will be drawn on Monday 27th August 2007 following our home match with Basingstoke Town.
PRIZES:
A Year’s Free Subscription to Setanta Sports.
A weekend for two with the Team in Lewes to include travel and overnight accommodation.
A signed Newport County AFC Shirt.
A signed Newport County AFC Football.
A framed action photo (Lewes Match) signed by a player.
There will also be a bucket collection (in BarAmber) on Monday at the Basingstoke game.
Bugger! I missed the raffle. A weekend in Lewes will have to be enjoyed by someone else.

The last Newport game I watched at the Dripping Pan was very peaceful, with fans from both sides enjoying the Harveys on the terrace behind the goal. I spent half of the game in conversation with Tim Cutress and the police didn't have to intervene at all.
There was certainly trouble at an earlier Lewes v Newport game, but - like all these things - the potential for a repetition tends to be exaggerated.
