Another joke red card, Cisse wasn't violent, just held the guys chin to talk to him. MotD is such a wind up, no idea why I watch it, shows the replay twice and Shearer says he grabbed him by the throat twice, blind, not sure how he managed to find the goal so many times.

"just held the guys chin to talk to him" are you sure ??? should have gone to specsavers, you can't lay your hand on another player. The rules are quite clear.

Would you like someone grabbing your jaw, to talk to someone? Behaviour that's threatening and unruly should be punished.

As others have said, 25 backwards. Bendtner was just being a prick by changing his number to signify his weekly wages.

This. Ephraim has 25.

For now. At Fulham, Simon Davies wore 25 when Bobby arrived, so he had to take a different number and went for #9. A season with about 4 goals later, Davies shifted to #29 and Bobby resumed the magic in the #25. Nothing wrong with superstitions about numbers.

Talking numbers, Joe Mattock (left back) is wearing #2 for us, which is fairly outside of normality and for number geeks (me), it is even stranger that this is the second time he has worn #2 because the more traditional #3 was already taken by a centre back. At West Brom Jonas Olsson is #3 and Mattock took #2 there, here he has found Greer wearing the number 3 and so has inherited the vacant number 2, which has been unused since Andrew Whing departed.

I'll bore off now.

"The rules are quite clear" Yeah red cards for serious foul play or violent conduct. This was unsportsmanlike conduct, should of been a yellow.

Law 12:

A player is guilty of violent conduct if he uses excessive force or brutality
against an opponent when not challenging for the ball.

Cisse used excessive force

Pity the above law did not exist when Barnes was grabbed by that Burnley player earlier this season.

Back to numbers, I reckon Buckley will be wearing no 90 next season to co-incide with the number by his name on the scoresheet.
