Could it be that the reason tony bloom hasn't sacked that clueless chancer, is because he doesn't want to cancel his holiday and have to deal with finding a replacement etc.
i bloody hope not, because this club should be worth way more than his trip down under. Lets hope im wide of the mark.

Case to argue? I don't think so with the "FFP" regulations that apply in League One.

It is the SCMP, (Salary Cost Management Protocol), limiting players wages to 60% of turnover, reported on a monthly basis, that does limit losses in League 1.

The other major factor of course is the introduction of the new FFP regulations for the Championship coming into force next season - permitted losses have been increased from £5M to £39 million over three years for the majority of clubs, (up to £83M for clubs relegated from the Premier League). It is reasonable to assume that in order for the club to compete in the Championship that player's wages would increase and that club losses would approach the £13M level.

I share your concern at the run of playing form under Sami's tenure and am surprised it is being tolerated. OK we somehow avoided a real battering at Derby which may have given Sami a reprieve, at least until after the Millwall game. A decent performance and a precious win on Friday would repay (some of) the faith being shown in him.

However I don't think Tony needs to be continually present in order to make important business decisions. He employs a very well remunerated CEO to run the Club on his behalf - and to implement his strategies. Bear in mind that Tony also has a wider business empire to oversee. Ok we have a crisis at The Albion and it might seem odd timing to leave the country for the other side of the world - but having just held a board meeting any immediate priorities would have been agreed with his key people. Plus Tony would be readily contactable via various media.

If the wheels come off in the next couple of games while Tony is down under it would not stop him from taking decisive action, if he is minded to. He will be able to show that he has been fair in allowing Sami a decent chance to manage his way through this crisis.

It won't stop us biting our nails in frustration not knowing what the masterplan is though.......

OK, this is ridiculous now.

Sami is immune from the sack.

A limpet and a barnacle.

So what is it we don't know ? ??? What is Tony's thinking ? ???

Tony is no fool.

Best case, I suppose, is that we have 2 or 3 Leverkusen players lined up for January, dependent on Sami staying.

More of a hope, really.

When Josip Drmić signs on January 1st, start worrying!..

I've been worrying since August and now I don't as we'll be relegated. Tony Bloom allowed Burke to bring in Balddock and the other division one players as Bloom knows we're getting relegated so hope these players will get us promoted, which isn't going to happen. Bloom also thinks that we'll retain out season tickets which again is like a heroin addict saying I can survive on £10 aday.

Bloom is a mug and is taking fans for mugs. He who laughs last laughs the loudest.

I just don't find myself so attached to the club with SH in charge. It's an odd feeling, but I think his outward appearance of 'meh' towards everything has rubbed off on me.

I think I'll be giving Friday a swerve. It'll be the first time ever missing a home game through choice rather than illness or work.

Pot kettle and black

You are a sad old man. Surely even an old dullard like you doesn't think we signed the likes of Baldock because we thought we would go down this year and he could get us back up?

You calling me stupid does make me laugh, Ernest. Have you ever read some of the drivel you post? It's like you're semi-literate. I'm not talking about your comedy posts, as sometimes they can be relatively amusing, but your serious ones are embarrassing.

That's what Bloom has done to us fans.

Yeah, what a ******* that Bloom is, just look what he's done to the poor Brighton fans over the last few years.
