Fair enough.

I don't know enough about immigration rules to know all the ins and outs. A few years ago, I was friendly with someone from Croatia who seemed to have heaps of Croatian and Serbian friends who appeared to have no problems being here. My friend had a British passport thanks to a marriage, but I did wonder just how so many non-EU citizens managed to get here.

Note to BNPers, they all seemed to have jobs so won't scrounging off the state.

They go to another EU state get citizenship then head for the UK. Quite simple really

Norway is not in the EU but, like Switzerland and Iceland, it does have bilateral agreements with the EU in which it agrees that it will adopt all the EU "single market" legislation verbatum into national law. ...
Should the UK ever decide to leave the EU then we would have to conclude similar agreements with the EU or face life outside the EFTA area with the associated tariffs.

agreeing to "single market" legislation though is a long way from the current ceding of power and quite an acceptable position.

Blanket ban ? pretty much yes, is it there country of origin or intent ? a mixture of both really, let me ask you a question , would you be happy if in 20 years time brighton had the same racial demographic as tower hamlets ?

I'd love it.

Better curry houses, better food in the local shops and longer opening hours.

I still miss Tooting sometimes, it would be like having Tooting come here.

It depends on what that racial demographic can bring to the party.

If you're talking about a social or economic demographic, that's a different matter.
ok, same economic demographic, but the racial dmographic is the same as tower hamlets, its st peters mosque not church , the north laines are full of halal butchers , the king and queen is an islamic education centre , you get the picture.

What are the facists so scared of? My girlfriend is anglo-estonian and my sisters boyfriend is anglo-spanish. These factors have done nothing but enrich our lives and that of our families. Embrace difference and you might find your lives are a bit more interesting.

What do you mean by Fascist?

As nationalists we embrace difference and we want to maintain that difference. We like a world made up of interesting cultures. We don't want a globalist melting pot made up of consummers and producers.

I dont think you would to be honest, to see the area where YOU grew up and all the familiar sights and sounds disappearing, it's very easy for you to SAY you'd like it , it's never happened to you , it has to me i'm from tooting, ive asked you before if you'd ever met any white english people born and bred in tooting who are happy with the way it has changed in the last 25/30 years , the question has always remained unanswered.

**waits for loads of locals gwylan knows to pop out of the woodwork who are over the moon with the way tooting has become so diverse and 'vibrant'with its pletora of halal butchers , mosques and mobile phone unlocking shops**

PS I dont agree about the curry houses either !!

Just had my postal voting form through for Tunbridge Wells. I wonder why the BNP candidate (a Mr Andrew McBride) has elected to have his address unpublished. The Tory, Lib Dem and Labour candidate seemed happy to have their address on the ballot form.

I also note that this chap is from Bracknell, not even from Kent.

Now that's an interesting point because to be fair I don't see many comments on here that suggest the right wingers want to embrace other cultures. If the right wingers could see the problem is a globalist melting pot made up of consumers and producers then surely they would be embracing a rather more left wing point of view.

Basically I think a lot of these right wingers are scared of losing our superior position in the world (economically) and the immigrants that come here who will pick up the slack of crappy jobs and try to build a life for themselves are a reflection of this. Why not embrace better conditions for all?

If these countries weren't held to crippling post-colonial debt and free market reforms as conditions of loans then perhaps they wouldn't feel the need to head over here and we could travel around freely enjoying the culture of others.

But you always ask the question and then never accept the answer. So why bother asking it?

FWIW, I agree with you, but you seem to have a major problem dealing with opposing points of view.

Fine by me. White British would still be the largest ethnic group.

As long as everyone is law-abiding (vital, of course), pleasant, sociable, let everyone be themselves and allow their own peaceful customs to prevail, don't instill their own sense of self-importance or arrogance on anyone else, I don't give a toss where they're from.

It's about time someone did something with St Peter's Church anyway, and why would anyone turn the King & Queen into an Islamic Centre when it's popular (albeit shite) as a pub?

It's when one group tries forcibly instill their own culture on others at the expense of the latter's own that racial trust breaks down and problems start.

I think the term right winger or left winger is a bit misleading. I do embrace better conditions for all. I understand why people risk their lives getting here to escape the poverty and exploitation that exist due to global capitalism.

It might seem stange to some but in the general election i will vote BNP and socialist alliance for the council

it seems to me that thats more simply about change. people dont like it when the bakers turns into a coffee shop, the old cinema closes or the field at the end of the high st has flats built on. people dont like change.

fears of immigrants are just about another change. and guess what, years later the next generation doesnt give a monkeys about the old cinema, or the flats and complain the coffee shop is now turning into a charity shop. it will be the same with immigrants, we will absorb them and they will assimilate.

There's an interesting point that Zizek makes that Nationalists are just Socialists who have projected the anger of their situation onto a scapegoat.

Be interested to know what he would make of you Coventry.

I don't live in Tooting so don't know any locals. But I did grow up in Moulsecoomb which was exclusively white 40 years ago and now is decidedly not and that doesn't bother me either.
