Because if we say to other countries that we don't want their citizens, they are likely to respond in kind.

Both countries economies have little similarities to ours. The Swiss rely on there Banks and Tax Status and the Norwegian economy is tiny and insignificant. Ours is not, it would be if we left the EU.

If we are not a tiny and insignificant country why do we need the EU?

Most garbage spouting eurodrones tend to argue the opposite.:lolol:

My worry is that if Clegg gets his way after an indesisive election, and we get PR, then Parties like the BNP will start having more say in our Parliament.

Remember they got nearly a million votes in the European Elections.

Scary stuff.

Thats what PR is all about, compromise with exstremes. Look at the israeli lot who have to shack up with the religous crazies. Its one more step to the BNP in government, not many more now as most the peices are in place.

The UK economy benefits from being in Europe, as it is our biggest trading partner. Leaving Europe would result in tariffs, and higher prices for consumers.

If the BNP puts an end to immigration, would it also put an end to emigration too?

What a lot of absolute embarrassing bullshit!!

Please clarify the following;

1. Where are there currently tarriffs amongst non-EU European countries;
2. And if so, for what goods and/or services:
3. Ditto for non-European countries;
4. We trade with the EU on an approximate basis that they sell to the UK something like 4:3 in terms of the goods that they sell to us than we sell to them - it would not be in their interests to impose tariffs;
5. As anyone with a scant knowledge knows - the UK is a nett CONTRIBUTOR to the EU ie we give more than we get!!

I look forward to a prompt response!!!

The BNP claim that they have 'over 100 coucillors'. They have 54. Out of 22,000.

And that in two generations' time, whites will be the minority race.

So putting the figures on that, the UK is currently 92% white. In order for it to be 49% white, assuming little or no emigration, there would have to be an extra 50 million extra non-whites in the UK, making a population of 110 million by 2060.

Sorry but where do your figures take account of falling 'white' birthrates and rising 'coloured' birthrates - just for starters??!!

Are you really going to mess with your own mind trying to justify Griffin's fantasy statement? Stop and work it out before you do.

But in order to help - for a start, there are currently about 55 million white people in the UK, and 4.5 million 'non-whites'. Do you really think non-whites can produce 50 million MORE people in 50 years than white people?

The only thing that was interesting was he said "what would Churchill have made of current situation?"

It would be true to believe that he would be dismayed at the amount of non-British in our country and that in his day most of the popular views regarding this would have been similar. Thank God with moved on, well most of us anyway.

Why is it that your migration is justifiable whereas other people's isn't?

I am on a three year visa. At the end of that period I return to the UK.

In any case this is one big fecking country with a lot more room for immigrants than the UK.

I would never argue that membership of the EU is without its problems, just look at the Greek issue at the moment and bail out those in Eurozone are having to workout. However most politicians and business leaders including all but the most rabid Anti-Euro Tories agree that Britain within Europe is far stronger then one on the fringes. Even the US whose economy cannot be described as "tiny and insignificant", is part of NAFTA. The days of isolationist policies died after the Second World War. In this modern age with global trade, markets etc any attempt to go it alone is doomed.

i liked the clip of the banking spitfire. that got me, now ill vote bnp . and if that didnt turn me how about that little display of medals. ha ha . griffin is creepy and the party is a joke. if youre seriously wanting to vote bnp over immigration issues do yourself a favour and read up a bit more on immigration . the same about europe, then make a more informed decision. you will then not vote bnp....... unless youre racist and just dont like blacks, asians, etc

The advert was cheesy and amateurish, they would be a disaster in government, however a lot of the basic tenets of their message ring true, they wouldn't have enjoyed the limited success thay have had up to now were this not true, however i expect this will be dismissexd as the 'ramblings of a knuckle dragger' from the usual suspects .

Er...the most popular emigration destination for Brits is Spain. There are many more Brits settling in France, Greece, Italy and Cyprus too. The BNP policy is to scrap the Treaty of Rome, ending the rights of Brits to settle there - that's what El Pres was talking about.
