Email was surely not the way to deal with this!? How can you expect them to take you seriously via an email, you've just given them more ammunition to throw back at you.

I will tell anyone who takes the piss out of me supporting my club for 35 years to f*** RIGHT OFF mate, its not a laughing matter. I know we are utter shite , it is because we CANNOT COMPETE in the football World due to the fact we have NOT BEEN ALLOWED to build our own stadium for 10 years after the previous directors RAPED the club and sold the ground from underneath us. This means the club can never compete above div 3 level as they cannot attract the crowds , money and players due to financial constraints, whilst they are forced to play in an old athletics stadium they rented from the council with an 8000 capacity and 2 seasons playing their home games at Gillingham, a 150 mile round trip . We have lost 3 good managers, Adams, Coppell, Taylor all due to the fact we are held back with no stadium and no future. We have had to sell EVERYONE of our players worth any money to pay for the £ 3 000 000 it has cost so far fighting to get our own ground so we can compete. It is a miracle the club is still alive at all down to the fans sheer will , including going on countless marches, 61000 signing a petition , 40000 cards sent to the government and relentless campaigning for 10 years. Even when we got permission 2 years ago Lewes District Council appealed meaning another 2 year delay. The club is losing £ 1 000 000 a year because of not having their own ground. I have sat for 8 years in a lego stand with no cover, in the pouring rain countless times, getting the flu on occasions with no facilities, a portacabin loo and a burger stand for catering. Would you have done that for Liverpool as its been easy watching in a state of the art stadium with world class players in the dry with great facilities, how easy is that, I would love to do that. Do some research on the history and BHAFC and what there fans have endured for 10 years and then take the piss as they are in fact the greatest supporters in the land.

Gareth

Since sending this have you noticed many people in your office are talking under their breath and walking away giggling?

Its very important when writing a RANT, that you use minimal punctuation, and definitely no paragraphs. Good to see Gareth has stuck to these essential rules. Good work.

Hmmm..

I'm seeing Gareth more as the one whose stapler would be taken by the 'cool' people, and returned set in jelly, a la 'The Office'.

What was the name of the geek that Tim and Dawn used to wind up?

i hope you feel better for it, u.s. but do try and calm down. i for one never get angry when mates take the piss out of the albion. chances are they're not even from the towns/cities they support, don't really know/care about football, rarely/never go to the games, or only started supporting them when they became successful.

a sense of superiority, arrogance and pomposity can make you feel all warm inside. (yes, i should know :()

I see Nottingham Forest are looking to move to a new ground in a village, but also with 5,000 new houses! Now that would give the people of Falmer something to complain about!

9th July is getting ever closer - EEK

Always does the trick, most are pay per view football likers, i won,t call them fans as that is a insult to the proper one's. Got to have done some time on the terraces for respect:bowdown:

Thats a good old moan up well done! :bla: :falmerspi:bla::falmer:

Indeed it is

But there's a time and a place and a medium - and work email is not that medium.
Just needs one malicious / pissed-up work colleague to forward the mail to HR and its into the disciplinary procedure bullshit. Schoolboy error, Gareth, tho total respect for your sentiments
