I will tell anyone who takes the piss out of me supporting my club for 35 years to f*** RIGHT OFF mate, its not a laughing matter. I know we are utter shite , it is because we CANNOT COMPETE in the football World due to the fact we have NOT BEEN ALLOWED to build our own stadium for 10 years after the previous directors RAPED the club and sold the ground from underneath us. This means the club can never compete above div 3 level as they cannot attract the crowds , money and players due to financial constraints, whilst they are forced to play in an old athletics stadium they rented from the council with an 8000 capacity and 2 seasons playing their home games at Gillingham, a 150 mile round trip . We have lost 3 good managers, Adams, Coppell, Taylor all due to the fact we are held back with no stadium and no future. We have had to sell EVERYONE of our players worth any money to pay for the £ 3 000 000 it has cost so far fighting to get our own ground so we can compete. It is a miracle the club is still alive at all down to the fans sheer will , including going on countless marches, 61000 signing a petition , 40000 cards sent to the government and relentless campaigning for 10 years. Even when we got permission 2 years ago Lewes District Council appealed meaning another 2 year delay. The club is losing £ 1 000 000 a year because of not having their own ground. I have sat for 8 years in a lego stand with no cover, in the pouring rain countless times, getting the flu on occasions with no facilities, a portacabin loo and a burger stand for catering. Would you have done that for Liverpool as its been easy watching in a state of the art stadium with world class players in the dry with great facilities, how easy is that, I would love to do that. Do some research on the history and BHAFC and what there fans have endured for 10 years and then take the piss as they are in fact the greatest supporters in the land.

I completely understand US., what pisses me off is the amount of people who think the "we" as in the supporters agreed to selling the ground....so many people don't understand this very salient fact!! and I wasn't even living here then but I've taken the time to understand and digest exactly why we're in the position!

I may have lost my cool and should not rise to the bait but 3 or 4 of them have been banging on about BHAFC and how they would have used the £ 500 st money and I lost it.

After riding that precariously high horse, have you told mentioned in passing to these folks that you're giving up on this club that's so buttock-clenchingly dear to you and not renewing your season ticket next year?

I mentioned Falmer in passing to a couple of my team-mates after football last Monday [both Saints fans]. "Why are they trying to build it in a little village, anyway?" one of them innocently asked.

What can you do?
