Blackjacks for me............Indeed in the mid sixties you could buy 4 for an old penny...48 for a shilling and 960 for £1 or 20 shillings.When i was a young lad in the 50s you could buy 960 of these for a pound ,when Decimalisation came in 1971 you could then only buy 400 for a pound. I think i wept. The spending power of my pocket money was reduced overnight.
OzMike...I wasn't sure which of your posts had me aghast the most?...who in their right mind likes parma violets (like sucking on soap) and Why have you not treated your taste buds to a refresher?
