But he’s been poor for a quite a while now too and is one of Spurs (many) problems, they need to replace him. He’s nowhere near the player he was 5/6 years ago.

Their biggest problem is the manager though, he’s hopeless. Take away the first three/four months of last season and his record is absolutely appalling.
Apparently we should get Ange in though

I loved Biss but, as I understand it, the club wasn't disappointed to see him leave.

Getting slated by Spurs fans for his performance last night. I can't really see him being there next season, it just hasn't worked out for him.

Foster wasn't a disaster though, despite us being shite and him coming to the end of his career. He certainly formed a decent partnership with a young Paul McCarthy who was one of the few bright sparks of that era, seeing a young lad from the academy come through and put it all on the line for us.

In more modern times Steve Sidwell and Bobby Zamora had decent second spells with us (technically it was Bobby's third spell). Kazenga Lua Lua had 4 different spells with us and none of them were a disaster, although they all seem to pale into one, he did make a few Newcastle appearances in between loan spells.

Struggling to think of any players who had disastrous returns to the club? Adam Virgo maybe, certainly didn't seem to be the player he was before we sold him to Celtic.

Managers should never go back though. Mullery and Adams were both crap second time around.
We should get Mike Bailey back…

I could easily see him turning our for a team in Saudi if he leaves Spurs. Wouldn't begrudge him that either. Could get generational money out there for a few years work.

As he’s now 28 there’s no resale really if we do bring him back

But, I think if we can get him back performing we could build the team around him and hang on to him as the rock (the Pascal role) while rotating those around him

He was so poor last night. Everyone here knows he is MUCH better than that. Lacked energy. So sloppy in his passing. Mind you Spurs are a real mess. If we could get him back and plays him in the deeper role with Baleba next to him I truly think Carlos would inspire him and help him regain his form. He could see out his career here. Once Baleba is gone Yalcouye can just slot in as the more the advanced DM/CM. It all makes a lot of sense but also doesn’t.
Problem is I’m not sure his head is in it and is he a reliable senior role model?!
