Can't argue with the price, we've made a profit on someone who only has a year left. He helped us stay up over the years so good luck to him.

A fee may have been agreed, but if someone comes in with £35 million, we can still pull out of the deal and sell him to the highest bidder, or whatever suits us best.

If this has been leaked, other teams certainly will be alerted to this. It won't just be Tottenham who will be going in for him.

If Spurs have agreed a fee of £25m why would someone else bid £35m, wouldn't they just match the £25m that Spurs have bid?

It was an example, but yes they could, of course. But to bid more would be an incentive for us to reject the other offer, meaning a higher chance of the team with the larger bid getting the player.

£25 million sounds a little cheap by today standards but there are two big factors here.
1. He's only got a year left so we are on the back foot in terms of negotiating.
2. His court case is on the horizon.........

I'm not unhappy with £25 million if there are achievable add ons attached as well.

The club will have driven a hard bargain and taken everything into account for sure.

Let's wrap this up now and not leave it in a state of uncertainty for weeks.

At least 3 will be.

It's nonsense to think Tony will allow the break up the squad this summer.

Hardly breaking news that we are selling Bissouma. He’s not wanted to sign a new contract and has 1 year left so there you are. Very different for everyone else on the list.

They won't all be going. Maybe Cucurella or Trossard if the right offer is made. Can't see Lamptey or Sanchez leaving this window
CBH was very obviously being sarcastic. His post was from a week ago.

Anyway, Bissouma being off was the one I had already long accepted - just thankful it's looking like being a Champions League club under a world class manager and not a Villa or Newcastle, which would've been a crying shame. A fee in the region of £30m feels realistic given the contract situation, although I'm sure we'd all love £50m.

Given that , for example, Welbeck has signed a new contract - you’d rather hope not.

I understand why people are disappointed with 25million, but personally I think that's about right. With Ben White we had such a strong bargaining position but with Bissouma we only have two choices which are to accept a lower (but still reasonable fee) or lose him for free next year.
When you consider we bought Cucurella for 15 million and already have midfield replacements for Bissouma, its not a bad deal.

F#ck it. Lucky, lucky Spurs. Knew it was coming but for a genuinely World class defender it seems a little low. Our best ever player in my opinion, (not greatest, that's Dunk of course ) although that accolade may go to Cucurella among others soon. There goes our best song too. Oh well, brilliant time to be an Albion fan. Wish him only greatness.

25M guaranteed would be decent given situation but clearly half what he’s worth with a longer deal. Just hope it’s not 25M total if all add ons met as that would seem rather poor business if so. Some cheeky little Champions League qualification add ons on top of the 25 would be very welcome but we might never know. Either way a bargain Daniel Levy signing.

Levy and Bloom negotiating, this could take a while

Can we swing a sell on do you think?

Is it kosher??

A lot of Arsenal fans are going to completely lose it over this ( if true)

1 year left and the transfer pendulum swung. That said we got a record PL finish with some fine performances from Biss this season with a transition to new capable players firmly laid down. Still, that’s a bargain for Spurs, he’s a great fit for them.
