I guess because they are all tested, and if he's the only positive that is OK. They likely then look at who he was in close contact to for periods of time (bus, plane, hotels, treatment) and decide from there ?

That's not what happened when players in the PL tested positive. Just keep testing and hope for the best.

That would be the case if the team were based in Scotland apparently. But they're based in Middlesbrough, and the rules are more 'relaxed' in England than they are in Scotland.
