Shane Duffy certainly played his part in our promotion to the Premier League, so will always be remembered in BHA history.
I like the fact he's a rough diamond.
A real man's man.

I did laugh when they sang "You bum your seagulls", in response to the Norwich Family chant from us.

I'm sure I'll be told it was homophobic and I should have reported it, but I didn't.

They didn't confirm the gender of the seagulls to be fair.

They could be referring to perfectly heterosexual bird bumming.

4-0 up in the Cup I think is exactly the time for a Shane Duffy love-in and some stupid chants - that sort of thing is what aways are all about.

Bit humourless otherwise, IMO.

It was nearly all great. Just two exceptions imo:

1. 'football in a library' is always sh*t but even more so when sung after 5 minutes to a relatively full and lively stadium

2. Singing 'is there firedrill' to a stadium that was STILL nearly full despite being 4‐0 down with just minutes to play

Otherwise lots of fun. And Duffy IS a legend.

For me, every member of the promotion team are legends.
Players like Duffy, who were an integral part of that team, doubly so.
