Good, thought they might send Van Hecke out with Colwill coming in but this is good for everyone, surprised it`s another Prem club though

With a ‘loan’ in the last year of a contract; effectively it’s a free transfer to that side with them paying all of his salary (£2m+)? He won’t be back but I’d have preferred a fee for an international with 113 EPL appearances. Nevermind. More money in the pot for a new left back/left wing back.

Yer feels a bit generous to me. Don't like giving away decent players to a rival.

I'm guessing this is kind of like a loyalty bonus from us to him. He seems to like the south and we are making it an easy transition. Balance out the bad press from cucu.

Looking at their forums you can tell a bunch of fools didn't see any of his top performances last season when he was called upon.

Too good for them is Shane.

As much as he is a decent player, he is 30 years old and behind Webster, Dunk, Veltman and possibly even Clarke, Van Hecke and now maybe Colwill. If he is off to Fulham, a) that gives us an advantage as I'm 95% sure that he won't start against us and b) plays in a style that doesn't immediately suit him.

If he's going, I'm much happier that it's a loan so he can't play against us than perm where he can.

Happy for him and what a guy. Wouldn’t even care if he put in a bullet header against us. The bloke will always be up there for me as hero. Getting us and keeping us in the Prem, watching Dunk and Duffy was absolutely incredible at times.

They're not convinced. That seems fair as Shane is not the type of centre back they are used to at Fulham. He's the kind that doesn't get relegated from the Premier League and they don't usually sign them.

What if Duffy goes to Fulham and helps them keep clean sheets and they don't get relegated and swap leagues with Norwich. Will the world explode or does time reset. What if both sides were due to play a premier League match Vs each other in August 23

One of my favourites, so I'm pleased for him. Hope he does well - and helps keep Fulham up (not at our expense obviously).
