I would rather a sale as he walks away for nothing in a year, however at least i wont have the trauma of him playing against us this season

I think he'd be quite easy to play against, just keep the ball on the deck and play around him.

He’s been a loyal servant there’s obviously no interest in a transfer so gets him playing football again and off our wage bill. Colwill comes in to replace him

A nice loan fee for us and then Shane becomes a free agent in 12 months time - with a fat signing on fee - as a thank you from the club.

Sounds great for everyone.

I say it on every Duffy thread...I bloody love Shane Duffy!

Watching Duncan Duffy was one of the best things I've seen at the Albion. I hope he has a great season, plays lots of football and gets a fat contract with them or someone else.

I'll miss him.

The second best thing in this video after the goal is Duffy's reaction

The Kings Road had better watch out now now Duffy and Knocky are reunited :lolol:

Think we've moved on as a team and he clearly struggled with Potterball, but will miss the big fella, and he'll forever be a huge part in the history of our club through that promotion and the early PL years.

I have absolutely no idea how some of our 'fans' can have it in for those 2.

All we want is playing for our team to mean nearly as much as supporting our team.

That montage ought to be a 'lifetime free pass' but it's still not enough for some of the neediest fat bald middle-aged white men, this country has even produced.

Think Graham’s got that wrong. And maybe Shane too. Disappointed to lose such a valuable and experienced player.

That stupid argument that Duffy wouldn’t drop with Sanchez was the final straw I think

Bugger. There goes my "player one shot on target" in Albion bet builders (when he played)

Sad to see him go, but best of luck DUFFMAN

Shane needs minutes at this stage of his career, he didn’t get them last season, and unlikely this season. Selfishly a very good player to have in reserve but not really fair on him.
