No don't, those numbers are not right- or least cms isn't.

How do you know, are you his bank manager?.....17k a week sounds about the going rate to me for a top class striker in this division. Beckford is supposed to be on 40k a week(that is ridiculous imo btw).

A lot of people knocking him on here but dont forget he took Bolton up and established them as a safe Premier League club. If Gus left us while we were still in the Championship and we had the choice of a manager that would take us up to the Prem and keep us there playing less flair football, Im sure we wouldnt turn it down! Admittedly I would rather see us promoted and established in the Prem under Gus playing immense football but i wouldnt turn down the alternative!

Worthing
17k you say ?
Still less than the 19k that both Kitson and Lawrence are on at Pompey.
Who would you rather have ?

I bloody hope we wouldnt appoint a long ball hoofer like Big Sam. The key to success is to pass, pass and pass again. When English football gets rid of the hoofers then we might win a world cup. If/when Gus goes, I hope we have lined up someone (whether English or not) that knows that you pass the ball and keep the ball, not hoof it to the big lad who "runs the channels". To undo Poyets work by appointing a hoofer would be vandalism

This - Allardyce is a lot better manager than some people think. He may look like a dinosaur (and was a real old-fashioned centre back in his day) but I'd have paid good money to see his Bolton side when the likes of Jorkaeff (sorry about the spelling) and co. were in it.

Beleive me, I love the style we play with at the moment but there are very few managers outside the Prem that play that way. If Gus left we may have to take whatever we can get. Besides the point was, id take whatever style of football is going if it gets us into the Prem and keeps us there.

May have to take whatever we can get??....Are you having a laugh, there would be a queue of managers from the Amex to Withdean desperate to manage us and im not talking about the usual old dross that gets churned out whenever a job is up for grabs.

Of course there would be manager queueing up to manage us but how many of them play the Gus way?? I cant think of many managers that would leave their current club to join us tomorrow if Gus left.......not that play a passing game.

Allardyce has LOST it.

He NEVER inquired about Vicente - wtf? How would he fit in with long ball specialists Carew, Cole, Piqionne, Faye, Nolan, Diop?! Just making up stories to make us look like big spenders.

He has brought in Nolan who will be on £35K a week.

Hope we smash them live on sky.

not sure if i believe that myself

thats the very same figure i was told by someone who i suggest would no and has no reason to lie to me. seems cheap to me for some of Vincente quality?

Vicente may well have compromised on potential earnings. clearly he'd rather not compromise on playing style and presmably Arsenal, ManU, Chealsea and Tottenham didnt show any interest.
