Very good idea, cyclists who jump red lights ANNOY the &#*$ out of me
Should cyclists who break the law be prosecuted? Yes, of course.
Can you stick a number plate on a bicycle that is big enough to read? No, you cannot.
Thread closed.
Anyone who jumps a red light annoys the &#*$ out of me.
I tend to be more worried about the cars and vans doing it though than the cyclists, weird that...

Meanwhile, this little extract from the article says it all. "Tony Green, of the Brighton and Hove Cycling Campaign, described the licensing of cyclists as unrealistic. “There are cyclists who break the law, but ten or one hundred times as many motorists break the law,” he said. So, next time you are sat at the lights remember, for every cyclist that goes through a red light, there are 10, yes, 10 minimum cars that go through on a red and possibly a hundred. Well there you go, what a complete idiot.
Wow, just wow. Why? a car or van has metal box protection from traffic that has right of way if hit, a cyclist has none, i'm more worried about the cyclist.
