A red light applies to cyclists as much as to anyone else. On the occasions when I do ride a bike, I would never consider going through a red light.
With respect to cycling, what point are you trying to make?

When you have the momentum going on a bike you are more likely to try and keep that momentum going than you would in a car because it takes a lot longer to get back to that speed on a bike , roundabouts are a good example form my experience .
Yes, but I don't regularly and intentionally make a habit of it, and normally try (and manage) to stick to them.

In a nutshell we have a person perched on a saddle and two wheels with zero protection on a road with Trucks, vans, motorbikes, cars, emergency vehicles. There are gong to be problems.
There's plenty around, people just don't use themI should get out there and build us some fit for purpose cycle tracks then, nibble old chum.
