Wolves field a strong team for today's friendly with Brighton and Hove Albion at Compton Park (kick-off 1pm).

New signing Stephen Elliott leads the attack alongside Jay Bothroyd whilst Jody Craddock partners Rob Edwards in central defence.

Neill Collins and Mark Little complete the defensive back four and Daniel Jones, who played for the last 20 minutes at Doncaster last evening, also makes a start on the left flank.

Michael Gray, who completed his move to Wolves yesterday, is named as a substitute.

Good. I would rather have some decent practice against a strong opposition. Results are not of tantamount importance to performance in the pre-season.

To be fair to Wolves, I don't really think they have put a particually strong team out. No Matt Murray, Michael Kightly, Freddy Eastwood, Andy Keogh, Matt Jarvis or that big Nigerian Fella in the middle!

Apparently we have two triallists playing today, I missed the names but one is a Right winger recently released by Man Utd. and the other is a goalie for some non league team.
