Should we all buy "Gay" 1 shirts next season?

The pink Goalkeeper one's obviously!

From what I saw, basically a game of two halfs - first half we were good, but Wolves were better. Second half, we were better than Wolves and the team worked well as a unit.

The goalie - Gay - looked comfortable, but was pretty much untroubled. Kuipers played the last 20 minutes, but didn't have to do anything.

The first half defence (Whing, Butters, Rents, Lynch [subbed by Elphic in first 5 mins]) looked comfortable, even though Wolves were the better team in the first half. Butters was solid in the centre. Lynch went off injured after about 5 minutes - I hope he is OK, he looked pretty hurt. Whing was also pretty good and they held out well against Wolves, who had huge amounts of possesion, but never looked too threatening.

The Midfield battle in the first half was, erm, OK. The Wolves players were passing well and using their occasional silky skills against our midfield, which gave a good account, but wasn't really up to Wolves' standard (Robinson, El Abd, Fraser, Trailist).

Forster and Revell didn't really do too much up front - but they didn't have many chances. Revell was subbed after about half hour by Savage, who didn't look much more likely to score.

At half time, the Wolves fans next to us seemed quite impressed by our performance.

In the Second half we were the better side. Gatting looked threatening up front, and Elder had good moments, but struggled to get away from the Wolves defence. On the right, Savage played on the wing and Mayo played right-back. They were linking up very well and most of our good play came from this partnership.

Hammond and Cox worked well in the middle of midfield and also seemd to fit well with Mayo and Savage. Fraser and Elphic played in the middle of defence and looked comfortable, but they struggled in the last 10 minutes when Wolves started piling on the pressure.

The big revelation for me, was the winger we had on trial. Whenever he was on the ball we looked threatening and he gave the Wolves defence trouble all afternoon.

Well from what weve heard about today from Mullen..he seems quality...

Why dont we sign him up and offer the rest of them an immediate trial?
