It's the girl who trained the dog that won it though isn't it...

I'm a good spotter for fishing - not seen any on this thread atall... If fishing is being horrible for no reason then yes there's plenty of that.

No. Dog lovers voted for it, so the dog won it. Sad indictment on society that so many people exist who can't find happiness with humans that they need a dog. An animal that I frankly hate.

If you can't see the fishing and baiting on this thread you're blind.

Thats me done in then ! Personally I find my dog far superior company than most human beings I meet and given a choice would rather spend my time with him. If that's sad. I am sad.

I was watching with my housemates on ITV+1 (it was a drinking game, every time the word "Amazing" was said, down a shot... Not pleasant) and flipped over to the music channels during a break, they'd just said Pudsey and Ashleigh were on straight after it so we knew what was coming. I got engrossed in a Linkin Park belter (In The End) and turned back to ITV to see Ashleigh and Pudsey had just begun. I paused it, called in my housemates and we all settled down to continue watching. But at the end of their performance, all this tape comes flying out of nowhere, the crowd are celebrating wildly and Ant and Dec appear out of nowhere to announce, "You are the winners of BGT!" and we're all dumbstruck, wondering if maybe it's SO obvious that they're the best they've thought, f*** it, and crowned them. Then it dawned on me, we WERE watching on ITV+1.... This wasn't an hour delayed! Even better, I turned quickly over to +1 and BOOM, there they are. First time around. Woops.

the dog wasn't born walking around to music and doing spins was it! The whole act was created by the owner and she has worked hard at training the dog - that's something dog owners don't understand / do enough.

Give me an example of the fishing? I've only seen some of this thread, but if calling someone grotesque, purely on appearence is fishing then yes i must be blind. I never understand this 'fishing' tag at times - what's giving a controversial opinion that is actually your own and what's fishing?

Fishing means " I am a c*nt " basically and there are many contenders on this site. The fact is a lot of people love to piss people off, upset people and be objectionable for no good reason. This is because it makes them feel better about themselves so ultimately I suppose they should be pitied.

Get with the groove Lord !

thats because you were on the other side in "The Voice"
No. As far as I can tell, from this thread, my decision to use my Saturday evenings more productively is vindicated - even if they are usually spent in cheery post-match analysis, accompanied by a modest intake of alcohol in pleasant surroundings. Thank god for Dick's Bar, the WSL, the North Stand concourse and (today) Wembley Stadium, I say.

It's been a fantastic discussion almost reaching binfestry status largely thanks to TCB but I must go to bed now as I am over 50, apparently, and tired. Cheerio.

Sorry to you Britains got talent fans but I'd rather dangle my genitalia over a tank of ravenous otters than watch 1 second of that Simon cowell tripe.
A dog winning it sounds pretty apt to me

The English language - what vivid pictures it can paint.
