The problem with left wing people is that they want to penalise the people that are prepared to work hard, take chances and have an entrepreneurial dive.

They always support the social model, so long as it's other people paying for it. It doesn't matter how inefficient the state is at delivering those services, so long as they are run by the state and those nasty private companies aren't making a profit.

This is what holds this country back. Privatise the health service, make it profit driven, make the government push to improve the price it gets from the privatised health service, but keep it free at the point of devlivery.

This is why Maggie gets so many votes; most people realise that she did a great job (albeit with some mistakes), but she had balls and more integrity than Blair.

When she came to power, our industries were a laughing stock, and we had trade unions ruining the productivity of the country. She had the courage to stand up to them and put them in their place. Note how little of the reforms have been revoked by this 'Labour' government. The industries that couldn't compete were allowed to die, so that others would be started that could compete and add real value to the economy.

Blair is just a poor imitation of Maggie, and she was one of the first people who he invited to Downing Street after his '97 victory.

Why is Churchill not there?
Why is Kinnock there ?that crooked windbag is about as much use as the popes bollocks.
Because the question read SINCE Churchill, and I don't think there's been another Winston Churchill as prime minister since the first one. Why is Neil Kinnock there? Maybe because the poster is a left wing loon, who can't face the reality that this Welsh Twat never got power.

privatization in the NHS thats a laugh she privatized the hospital cleaning they cut corners and magically we have MRSA.
Now you have the tory leader banging on about how badly this government has done with the NHS he forgets to say that but for this government we would not have an NHS firstly by starting it (labour party)and secondly but saving it from the clutches of thatchers money making mates if our NHS is such a mess why do training doctors and nurses come from all over the world to train here.
People particularly here in Wales do nothing but complain about the NHS (probably because they think it is run by the English) both my wife and I have had to go to hospital recently for minor ops and checks for sinister symptoms and we were both seen within days (once the same day) and can safely say that the NHS is working very well thanks even if the hospitals are a bit naff the service is great,I don't think anyone could say that while thatcher was in,as I said before she hated the working class and her whole ethos was greed, which continues even today but at least we can complain about it now and take some legal action or go elsewhere.
