Nevertheless, in a climate where there is a hunt to find the 'two million plus who are here illegally,' it is highly likely that socially, all 'immigrants' will be placed under pressure and intimidation to leave. Those who stay would be deemed 'permanent guests' - in other words second-class citizens who do not have equal status in the eyes of the law.

You think many talented person born overseas yet working in this country would want to stay in such circumstances? It would be goodbye Poyet, Taricco, Calderon and Lua Lua.

It says 'still appropriate' not 'still legal', and the grant might not be considered generous by, say, Bobby Zamora or Gus Poyet who are on a decent wage. And if the people in power are racist and giving their thugs all the powerful jobs in the cabinet and authority, pushing all their policies that give preference to white Britons, perhaps the generous grant will be irrelevant and people who have every right to be here, more than Griffin, even, will be fleeing for their own safety, not for a "generous grant"
