The Large One
Who's Next?
Tony Rougier for Reading.
Adam Rooney
One thing, Ireland was TOILET when he played against us. Probably Snodgrass or Baines..
Who remembers Neville Southall for Torquay back in the early, early days at Withdean? He was absolutely AMAZING! Didn't they beat us 1-0 and he was man of the match? And then the season after we destroyed them 6-2.
What the..
I must've seen a different game that night then.
He didn't do jack shit that night.
You agree then, he was the MOM?
He didn't do jack shit that night, I remember Michael Johnson (I think) being quite good but not him. Much like most of the Manchester city team (Jo ect) he was poor. Fact is, if he was anywhere near his best we probably would have lost.

Does Michel Kuipers against Bristol City in 2002 count?

When I saw the thread title, that was the one that immediately sprang to mind. He was amazing that day.
I seem to remember James Milner playing a large part in ensuring Swindon came away with a 2-2 draw.
The four/five pronged attack of Wigan was pretty special. Blew us apart in the opening 5 minutes.
Seconded.
